Marin_Rider ,

its actually quite a wholesome movie now I think about it

Marin_Rider ,

Borat is a perfect example of a movie that's hilarious the first time you see it, but unfunny and cringe as fuck on rewatch

Marin_Rider ,

they look awesome. I don't get the hate some have for them. pure ideology

Marin_Rider ,

literally the plot of Caprica

Marin_Rider ,

it is a shame. i wished they were able to make another season but i guess just for the 2 of us it wouldnt have made much sense!

Marin_Rider ,

if game difficulty gets to the point the tedium takes the joy out of it, nothing wrong with easy mode.

Marin_Rider ,

this is literally what mobile phones do in North Korea

Marin_Rider ,

probably like other social media today. you don't see anything you actually want to see at all, just ads, sponsored videos and stuff you didn't search for that autoplays amd takes up the screen no matter what tab you are using

Marin_Rider ,

I find most searches will give me the first 3 or videos meeting the criteria roughly followed by a bunch of random stuff that has nothing to do with what I searched

Marin_Rider ,

I really need to retry the last book. I was so into the series but the time jump really took me out of it and I just lost interest at some point in the last book. seems dumb not to finish it but it really lost a lot of what I liked about the earlier books. hard to explain

Marin_Rider ,

its not that they aren't interesting, I guess the tone shift was harder for me to get over. that and the story going on after the death of one of the key characters who I won't name was hard too

Marin_Rider ,

the only expenses businesses ever complain about are wages. they don't seem to care how much is wasted elsewhere if they could save a few dollars cutting some shift workers allowance

Marin_Rider ,

the most unbelievable part is cubicles, no real corporations will provide that much privacy and instead force you to work open plan on a row of desks next to a random other person from another team who was also forced in for no reason

Marin_Rider ,

I think its a move to keep banned people out, as old reddit was the loophole people used to make new accounts. can't create an account via VPN on old reddit if you can't access without being logged in

Marin_Rider ,

had the same issue. built a new pc and was able to access it fine, just gotta be careful not to use reddit on any device my old account was present on.

the funny thing is, I'm not even using a VPN or doing anything to mask my identity. it seems to be purely hardware recognition

Marin_Rider ,

yep I think osprey bags did something similar

Marin_Rider ,

that is the most hilarious unorganic protest I think I've seen. I hope they at least got paid well

Marin_Rider ,

this is already a thing in the corporate world though and has been for over a decade, probably longer. what we don't want is this shit in our houses

Marin_Rider ,

I used to use the good browser. But then they changed what the good browser was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me.

ITLL HAPPEN TO YOU

Marin_Rider ,

he meant AAAAH but forgot the H

Marin_Rider ,

FC6 was the first ubi game I really disliked. same as you a few hours in and I just couldn't get into the vibe of it. I really liked FC5 (possibly in my top 10 of all time) but 6 felt like such a miss

Marin_Rider ,

back in the day (before chrome or incognito mode) I used to manually delete specific history items, individual cookies and temporary internet files one by one to leave no trace, while not making anything look suspicious, all so my nosy brother wouldn't stumble on any evidence and use it to mock me

Marin_Rider ,

what? my fenix 5x is going strong years later despite being a couple gens behind

Marin_Rider ,

yeah I got a watch 4 for free with my s22 ultra, I gave it a good shot and used it for a few months but went back to my garmin. I simply don't need a lot of the "smart" features aside from notifications and fitness tracking, which garmin does better, and then there's the battery.... different worlds there

Marin_Rider ,

not a chance thats 50 people. it could be 50 HR business partners alone. that 1900 could easily be entirely backoffice positions

things will be worrying when people Deepfake family members

Marin_Rider ,

Boomers without understanding that there should never have been so many Boomers in the first place.

its literally in their name too: 'baby boomers'. too many in too short a time and they have dominated politics for the better part of a century now
