Saying "Being gay isn't your choice [...]" deviates from the typical phrases and gives it away to early. I would recommend:
"You can't chose to be gay, I do. You're gay now."

  • Cooperations have first amendment rights
  • Donating money is a form of speech protected by the first amendment
  • therefore bribery is legal as long as it goes through PACs and is not obviously quid pro quo

I don't know, but you can check individual instances by going to the /instances subdomain and searching for threads.

shjw and blahaj are defederated, world isn't.
This can always change, but I have confidence in my admins.

Roguelike (or rogue-like) is a style of role-playing game traditionally characterized by a dungeon crawl through procedurally generated levels, turn-based gameplay, grid-based movement, and permanent death of the player character.

If that's your definition of Rougelike then yes.
Most people understand procedural generation and permadeath to be the core features.
While many feature turn-based gameplay, grid-based movement is not typical.

    I have a Microsoft USB-keyboard for my Linux machine, I should really find out how to remap that key to something.

    I bought it because it was the only one that I could find at an in person shop, that had an ergonomic bump and keys that have more than a millimeter of travel.

    Third person or top down shooter but you push around a shopping card with all your weapon and ammunition.

    You can only switch weapons at the cart but if it gets hit it explodes.
    This creates a balancing act of having it near enough to run back for a different weapon or more ammo but not to near so it doesn't get looted of blown up.
    You obviously can't take it up ladders or into ventilation shafts, meaning you have to fight your way back to where you left it with limited resources.

    The "every upkeep on your turn" nicely reflects his consist weekly uploads and the scry before explore shows the amount of research he does. While I can't judge it on MtG balance and flavor it captures Tom very well.

    If you have a regex for a languages keywords you can substract as they are closed under that operation.

    Iirc here in Germany you get some funding based on the votes you got last election.

    This reduces reliance on outside funding without enabling freeloaders, but sucks for first timers.
