Changing domain on existing Mastodon server question

So I know, I know you're not really supposed to change the domain of an already existing Mastodon server. But I did anyway and set the previous domain as alt domain in config. However, to see content of accounts I previously followed, I need to keep the old domain running. With a redirect in place to the new domain it breaks...

I read a bit ago here that other Mastodon instances will think it's a new instance with new users (who coincidentally have the same content as the old users)

my favourite part is Steam throwing in a symlink, a broken symlink, and a directory of 4 files and 7 more symlinks that all point to a more reasonable point in ~/.local/share/steam/

You can selfhost VSCode. I don't think there are any other good selfhostable IDEs that work with C#. I assume you could host VSCodium, but that's annoying to setup optimally for C#.

Iirc Sync and Boost are the only proprietary clients right now, so everything else is good. I'm using Eternity right now, it's on f droid
