bradorsomething ,

It didn’t say you could only enter one try, just that you had 10 seconds. The man page should give you something

bradorsomething ,

I’ll use the man page to find a command; it said 10 seconds, not 1 try!

I’d like to check in as part of the problem; I pay for google ads and I show up at the top of certain search screens. I’m in a small local market, and google is primed to make about $350,000 off about $3mm of work this year if things keep up the way they are. We have no choice but to play the game to reach our consumers. Sorry guys.

bradorsomething ,

I was shopping printers earlier, and reddit-based results had clear paid comments.

bradorsomething ,

That’s horrible… what can I do to help them get off facebook?

bradorsomething ,

Are you telling me The AntiCommie Paratrooper Death Squad isn’t real?

bradorsomething ,

Make the Maverick a plug in hybrid already!

bradorsomething ,

You can always fish out of water a villain. Their solution could sound reasonable where they come from, but during the quest for enlightenment be made clearly wrong, and they refuse to change. Breaking that step can turn the audience.

bradorsomething ,

I’d like to buy all of those people a round of absinth, gender be damned.

bradorsomething ,

It’s an odd argument, but I think it comes down to sales tax and property tax. Property tax is high in texas, and sales tax is 7% (not the highest in the nation, but high, and local sales tax can also run 1-2%). I think the theory is that you only pay so much sales tax in goods for one person, so it balances out california’s higher property taxes.

bradorsomething ,

Texas has a base sales tax of 6.25, which can be raised by local taxes up to 2%. So it is effectively 8.25% everywhere.

bradorsomething ,

I feel part of the confusion may be thinking california has a flat tax? It has tax brackets, which increase the percent as you make more.

Your beauty is beyond compare

When shaped to crowns the people stare

With glowing luster their jealous eyes grow green

You’re malleable into fine leaf

Yet form into yet thinner sheets

And I cannot compete with you, Goldene

When they openly provide support to this unit from other funding, will you wag a finger once, or are we going for the extreme two wags of the finger?

bradorsomething ,

Put a different operating system on each one, and make each a gateway to access the next. See who can make it through.

bradorsomething ,

Not to critique too hard, but the woman shouldn’t look angry, she she should be looking in the distance thinking, “these fake boobs weren’t worth it.”

bradorsomething ,

His statement is extremely flawed - insurance companies dream of accepting premiums and never paying out accidents.

bradorsomething ,

I feel you’re misapplying the advantage. Right now people hit other people in cars and insurance is what it is. It would be more appropriate to say that humans will pay normal rates, while autonomous car companies will charge you an insurance subscription, and work out much lower rates with the insurer.

bradorsomething ,

I would agree it’s bad for insurance company employees. But the purpose of an insurance company is to collect premiums and deny claims.

Get hurt in america, your insurer will hold a demo!

bradorsomething ,

As long as there is free competition, the cost will be around 10% over the operating cost. After that point it becomes worthwhile for another competitor to step in.

bradorsomething ,

When you want to hammer alien conspiracies, everything looks like a nalien.

bradorsomething ,

I consider it a great business tactic to hire the good people from my competitors for $2 more, treat them well, and then watch the competition slowly flame out and crash.

bradorsomething ,

I’ve got to admit, a girl makes that face at me, I’m going to walk up and start explaining the plot of Krull (1983) for as long as she can hold it. If she makes it through the whole thing I’m pretty sure we’re legally married.

bradorsomething ,

I agree with your statement, but I feel the intersection of this technology and capitalism is GATTACA. It simply makes sense to begin selecting the “good” genes, not only select against the bad ones. And what’s another $500 for blue eyes at that point?

The chair of the FTC is a person in the USA, and was not interviewed by a not-chair on an Apple platform before he left the platform to take the chair Mondays on his old show.

bradorsomething ,

The term may be 4 years but it will feel like 28 for him.

bradorsomething ,

Puts are a poor man’s short. Sold calls are a rich man’s short. I expect a lot of sold calls.

bradorsomething ,

Usually a week or two delay.

SHORTIT

bradorsomething ,

I’m pretty sure wsb will short the fuck out of it, lose money in the initial rise, then someone will make a few million in the death spiral

bradorsomething ,

Why would the drone differentiate an armed person from a civilian? I mean, you’ll be asking to separate out children next, at that rate!

bradorsomething ,

I’m sure they mean that in the “undead” context.

bradorsomething ,

We’ve used the sunk cost fallacy too long to give up on it now.

bradorsomething ,

Is it insider trading if wsb members short the stock, then make controversial content that frightens investors away?

A lot of Redditors hate the Reddit IPO | Reddit warned us that its users were a risk factor, and boy do they sound excited about shorting its stock. (www.theverge.com)

A lot of Redditors hate the Reddit IPO | Reddit warned us that its users were a risk factor, and boy do they sound excited about shorting its stock.::Reddit seems like a likely candidate for a meme stock. But the actual reaction suggests that r/WallStreetBets isn’t going to send the stock to the moon.

bradorsomething ,

It will be about a week until options come out. A put option simulates renting 100 shares of a stock over a time period, and collecting the difference between the strike price you pay for and the lower price if there is one. If the price ends higher, you lose the rent you paid.

bradorsomething ,

It’s a bit more complicated… you trade through a broker with trading rights on that exchange. Unless you are a power user on a bloomberg terminal.

Reddit could direct sell shares to a US resident, I’m pretty sure, as a first party sale.

This can’t be a walmart in america, where are the 50 american flags?
