If you have it from a new iPhone, you can literally cancel it from your settings >> Apple ID >> subscriptions. I have no idea how to do it on any other Apple device (because I don't own any others) but I know my dad had a hell of a time cancelling something for his Macbook.

This is why I report the job postings to the website posted, and to my country's department of labour. I know it seems futile, but I'm petty and I have time.

Turns out, it's actually helpful, I had someone reach out to me saying they were investigating a certain company, and if I had any more information about the screenshot I sent them a year ago.

I want to switch to Linux, but I honestly don't know how/where to even start or the proper way to even ask.

I asked once on a Linux forum when the whole Cortana debacle happened, and I was called a moron or sent a link to "Linux from scratch"...which was definitely above my technical knowledge at the time. I've been scared to post on Linux communities ever since lol

Oh absolutely. Looking back I probably asked in a hardcore Linux enthusiast community (no fault to them, we all get tired of our parents/siblings/coworkers asking us to "fix the wif")

The first fucking sentence of the article: "When Ty landed an introductory phone interview with a finance and banking company last month..."

Jokes aside, I've had one AI job interview in the last year, and while the AI was more dynamic than the one mentioned in the article, it was still a weird experience. I'm not really sure what the legalities are around using my likeness and voice to train the AI either, but it made me realize I'm not very comfortable with video interviews that have become the norm during Covid.

I also like that the article points out it can go both ways. If the recruiters are interviewing using AI, there's also live AI tools that will help the candidate navigate that interview. Soon enough, it'll just be AI interviewing AI. And isn't that the world we really want to live in 🤡

Yes, I use RSS feeds for all my news/blogs, but before the Reddit migration when I tried to incorporate my subreddits into my RSS feed many of them would stop updating after a day or just return errors.

Another commenter said to try old.reddit instead, so hopefully that works!

    Yeah, recently had my Android with adblockers break, and my YT consumption is almost non-existent now as I watch more on mobile devices than on PC.
