One time when I was 10 or so, I had a dream where I was in some cartoon city jumping between rooftops, and noticed that I had to pee. Then I thought "well, this is my dream, so it doesn't matter if I pee here". Having to go to my parents' bedroom and tell my dad I pissed in my bed was not fun.

What can you get to within a 15-minute walk of your house?

A recent YouGov survey asked Americans what they think they should be able to get to within a 15-minute walk of their house.

Of these choices, I can currently walk to all of them from my apartment, aside from a university (no biggie, I'm not currently studying, although there is a Tafe within walking distance), a hospital, and a sports arena.

How many can you get to with a 15 minute walk from your house?

I think it's because in some places, gas stations often have some small store for coffee, cigarettes, snacks and stuff like that.

If kids could walk to school without getting ran over, then schools wouldn't need as much parking space. In Finland, where I'm from, 7 year-olds can walk to school without getting crushed by a car. And when a plenty of students are able to get to school without cars, then schools don't need nearly as much parking space.

    I have lately been pretty convinced that 70% of pickup drivers don't actually need a truck but instead use it to compensate their insecurity about their small dicks and their fragile masculinity.

    Well, I kind of agree with you, but also what I intended to say is that I think most pick up drivers don't feel masculine enough, whether it's due to a small dick or something else making them feel like they aren't "real men", so they compensate their insecurity by driving unnecessarily large cars.

    Yeah, I maybe should have left the dick part out. A man can have a small penis and still not be insecure, and a man with a huge one can still be insecure about their masculinity and try to fix that insecurity with a stupid truck.
