In Sweden they seem to be trying to make the first one true. A university made it forbidden to have 'any conversation that may be interpreted as political to a passer-by' anywhere on campus. It was celebrated by the minister for higher education (liberal party member) as a brilliant step against "wokeness". It was retracted, because it is not possible to enforce. But the government is doing an investigation against universities to root out "wokeness".

well "saata" is closer to the pronounciation of satan in finnish, "saatana". Was it Linus you've heard?

What can you do with thw WSL? Can you run a wm for example with it? And if so, can you use the super key as a modifier?

I waited through meamo, meego, and tizen hoping for it to take off. Went with Firefox OS and Ubuntu touch instead, which had very little to offer. Not too long ago I felt I had to give up and go with android, and dream of a world where nokia would have taken the meamo/meego/tizen path instead.

Depends on distro. But the backdoored package has not been around for more than a few weeks. But the malicious developer have been active for years.

Gentoo rolled back to 5.4.2 to have a version without any contributions from the person responsibe for the backdoor. 5.2.8 should be ok I'd say.

Distros like gentoo reverted to 5.4.2 for that reason. If debian stable is on 5.4.1 that should be ok.

If the above decides to continue, the code appears to be parsing the symbol
tables in memory. This is the quite slow step that made me look into the issue.

That is from the original find. Not sure the relevance of it and this being proof for it being "on purpose". But that is the origin of the slowness.

I cannot even agree to that. Like I get that the settings takes minutes to reload after a reboot. And I need to get in there because it always resets my mouse speed to the slowest possible. But I cannot change it because there are no settings for the mouse directly after a fresh boot! It is so absurd.

Having used gentoo for quite some time, there have been several occations where my network broke because the changing names and naming conventions of the network interfaces.

Maybe like in Sweden, where the liberals went from calling themselves proud of being called the enemies of fascism, saying they will hide refugees if made illegal, to just straight up calling it "liberal politics actually", and are now collaborating with them to form a government. Crazy how that happens every time.

Neoliberals: so what you are saying is we should avoid competing at all cost? Sure! No efficency! Only profits!

    That seems to say that there is a slight over-representation of women in STEM (degrees earned) overall but only because of a single subject/job-cluster, "health-related", with a slight to very large under-representation in all others. No "predominant" anywhere. (well maybe health-related)

    Slightly to much less in traditional stem, and rising in some subjects/clusters, decreasing in some. I get that you have a hard time understanding that I pointed out that what you said was wrong, but you should admit to it too, instead of just posting another comment that is misleading.

    Yeah, so you are wrong. That is not predominantly. That is in stem overall, in most stem subjects, they are underrepresented.
