Yup. My LG TV has 85% of its features "disabled" until I accept new terms which is an acceptable middleground.

I wanted a high quality OLED display over 50inch, good luck finding one without voice control or adverts lol

Dude you've got the numbers completely wrong. I drive a "modern ev with a 250mile range" and in reality I will stop after 2-3 hours when doing long trips in the winter.

Manufacturer stated EV range is a joke. 5-6 hours of driving at best with one stop, not 8-10 lol.

Personally I would expect a product like this without favourable economies of scale to be $500.

2G, 3G, 4G, 5G mobile data made some sense as it represents generational leaps in the technology itself but then Xfinity wants to advertise "10g" internet...

Comcast says it represents a 10 Gigabit cable internet network they are building (it doesn’t exist) so they are basically changing the meaning of the g from generation to gig to act like 10g is 5 generations better (or twice as fast)…or that they have a 10 gigabit network. Neither is accurate. It’s still just cable...

At the beginning it originally had an appeal that anyone could create a voice chat server for free in a matter of seconds.

Teamspeak needed a hosted dedicated server.
Skype was "calls" and not communities.
Mumble was hardly known.

My brother's car got sideswiped parked on the street, there was full CCTV footage of the vehicle registration which did it.

Although it was an open and closed case he was left without a car for 7 days, had to pay taxi to get to work, spent 2 months with a shitty courtesy car worth 20% of his actual car. Car finally returned and there are rattles and doors don't close properly.

They effectively sell all of our fuel. I'm doing my best to avoid them but I'm in a fortunate position where I'm wealthy enough to use the alternatives which are 20% or so more money.

I hope more do the same, then shell will die

Whenever I say this I get gang downvoted by people on this site.

What most fail to understand is they are contributing to the emissions of shell and other major contributors to global warming by purchasing or using anything which relates to their products.

The wealthy humans can afford to avoid these products, but they cop out. Personally I've bought a second hand electric car and gone vegan over the last 18 months. It's more expensive than not changing my car but I could afford it and now I don't support the oil industry at all. Next on my list is my natural gas house boiler.

I've had people say 4 return flights a year isn't many flights and isn't a factor to climate change, especially compared to businesses which fly employees everywhere. Madness
