    Whenever I see a game I like, I check their official site to see if they sell it directly, then itch.io, then gog.

    Also itch.io has a couple of gold nuggets, and has some interesting things to check out!

    In reality KDE projects should start with GNU/K, because thr KDE desktop environment is just a small part of the GNU operating system, which is actually the core of the operating system.

    Wow, I didn't know about the KHTML rendering engine! I also use kdenlive for (small) video editing; but I don't like that it has too many dependencies (it even installed the phone link thingy)

    Because people partaking in the creation of this kind of videos, which is to say so called "video essays" do not posess the ability to syntethize their thoughts enough and need artificial padding to lenghten the video and thus give an allure of an thought-provoking essay.

    Also "video game essays" are overrated and will over interpret a single mechanic over an hour.

    Josh Strife Hayes manages to analyze several mechanics of a game, its context and 100% it in less than an hour.
