My mini goldendoodle is a medium sized dog, but she uses her big girl voice when people are nearby. She's not even aggressive or trying to be threatening, she just barks like she's twice the size she is. She picked up the behavior from my parents' anxious great shepherd. I'm trying to get her to stop, but it's been hard.
people really need to fucking train their small dogs, it's not okay to let them act like that.
With big dogs they consequences of not training them are too severe for people to completely ignore it, but with small dogs they just sort of end up as neurotic wrecks and people seem to think that's.. cute??
no, train your fucking dogs, it's not normal for small dogs to be nervous and aggressive, you're fucking abusing your family members.
Love me some Minion but to be fair Nate trains the fuck out of his animals. An owner wouldn't have to go through as much effort as he does for a polite housepet
eh, if you take on the responsibility of owning a dog training them well is really a big part of that responsibility, if you want a dog that needs minimal training just get a golden retriever.
