I get bored around the first Tuesday of November and I like to walk to the nearest firehouse or school. I try to chat up any older adults I see around me and then, wham, bam, they hit me with sticks and push me into a lil booth. Our brains tend to simplify things to help us understand the world around us. "Both parties are dumb" is rhetoric that you submit to when you don't really want to understand what makes them different, or what their agendas are.
I'm not saying people don't get fucked on decisions either party makes. It does in fact happen, but the world just isn't so black and white. We need to have the ability to criticize our representatives and hold them accountable, but right now I'd say there's a party that doesn't want any such accountability, and their agenda would put regular people further away from being able to take action.
You know what, I might use this unironically. Basically all the things depicted here are very okay to support. In fact if you didn't support these things in 2024 I'd consider you a pretty unreasonable, bad person. Thanks for the self report.

It's the "i support the current thing" meaning you have to support it even if you don't care to be well seen. Also i took corporations as a example because it's the most visible one.
I hope Biden and the party's leadership get hunted down and executed if they lose the election. Why? Because I'm a trans woman of color who's outspoken about my views, meaning I'm getting the axe before most. I'm EVERYTHING the right hates. I'm not "fucked either way," but actually dead one way and only possibly not dead the other.

I know you're not a Trump supporter. You're a trans leftist who thinks this is about what the parties "deserve." The parties both deserve terrible things, yet it's still in the best interests of literally everyone that Trump loses. Liberalism sucks, but it doesn't compare to fascism.
Most westerners are brainwashed into supporting our shit empires, as that's what nationalism is. People get brainwashed because we prefer easy solutions that don't exist. In this election, either a shitty empire wins, or we get crucified and enslaved by a downright evil empire. Neither have much longevity, but one will do way more damage every day they're in charge.
Throwing your hands up and claiming both options are comparable is easy. Thinking there's a middle path is easy. It’s far harder to accept that both options are bad, but still recognize that one of them will win this election and one of them is far worse than the other.
Funny thing is that the american democracy is like "we let you vote for who you want, but if you don't vote for one of the 2 evil wolves be sure your vote will change nothing" and that's why i hate the way it work in that country. And it's not a american thing, it work for every occidental country.
