Also, when the hell does anyone from the government show up to say that? If I need them to help me, I contact them. If they're contacting me, it's because they're helping someone else (employees, crime victims, the public).
It's a perfectly reasonable thing to say if your campaign and ideology hinges on you rooting out the corruption in government. It's a way of capturing the idea of the corruption that you want to fix.

Right? I did switch to Matrix but I knew a perfect discord server for a community that's kinda hard to find servers that I like for and there's something similarly themed in Matrix but it's not the same at all and it's so inactive :< So actually I might end up making a discord account again just for that server... but I'm holding on for now X3

Tho I get that they're hesitant to make an account in a new platform just to chat with one person especially considering we ourselves have issues staying away from discord X3 But I do wish server owners would at least have a Matrix alternative and maintain it tho I guess that last part is another problem...
