Honestly, I am mostly here for fun. If you see me writing some outrageous shit, most probably did so to see reactions of people.

Demdaru ,

I overall love Edge. But when the ads come running, I'll have to switch :/

Demdaru ,

Because of you I imagined a satellite with a small, dedicated hydraulic arm holding a glock.

Demdaru ,

Doggos are good, their owners suck ass. Also

I don’t have to be cautious with my infant around cats

Lemme just take a second to calm down, with all the stories of jealous cats literally murdering toddlers.

Edit: Also, to put more behind first part - I was a dog owner for a long time, had a big street mix doggo, lovable goofball but...when he liked someone, he worked like a bowling ball. Which with his mass actually even looked similiary if he was let free. But he wasn't let free often, because as an owner it was my job to make sure doggo doesn't bother other people - something a lot of folks apparently forget about.

Demdaru ,

The case of sleeping on child to death is new to me, quite interesting. But no - i literally mean cats ending children when parents start to focus more on the little one. However...I lived surrounded by this for quite a while, but I actually can't find much on the net too. I really hope this ends as some rumor.

Demdaru ,

Now now, let's keep honest here. They did provide option to install Win 11 on unsupported hardware. It's just slightly hidden, prolly to avoid people bricking their pc's an blaming MS. And also it won't update.

Demdaru ,

The only thing they fear is you

And then drive the car into the building, if possible jumping out earlier. Enter with knife. If they kidnappers have any logic in them, they are gonna book it because sure as hell whoever came is not normal.

And it gives me alibi of being in a state of irrational panic or something. Nobody will question such statement from someone who drove car into the building. :3

Demdaru ,

Not my fault now is it? Should've moved, duh.

Demdaru ,

The new, spectacular, octacular package full of amazement put in front of your eyes, the <Jacob, please find a while to find a name for this>!

Demdaru ,

Black outline on yellow background looks like rider to me.

Was introduced as a teen. Recently even looked back at my book from the times and it had a whole goddamn chapter with linux propaganda.

Hated it. Felt like high maintenance windows. No reason to even get near. Also, hated it doubly because nobody asked.

Best way would be to switch school computers to linux. That way there's no active part - it's here, you have to use it anyway, deal with it. Then you can taste it neutrally, and it becomes just a quirk. Quirk some may like.

Demdaru ,

It doesn't have to, but for most users on the level of teens/kids it is. You wanna do something in windows? Done. Just done. No problems whatsoever, most devs bend over backwards for compatibility. Meanwhile finding shit for linux is pain. Most things you heard of are not even there. You have to go through weird apps just to run things you're used to, and meanwhile OS asks weird questions like which graphic driver to install,

Linux changed a whole lot from the time I was introduced to it, and it became reaaaaally close to being as easy to use as windows. Hell, I even was considering switching to Mint some time ago ( Then bricked my boot. Thrice. And it's not fault of Linux. I think. ). I like how it looks and feels, and with proton and stuff it's best time to do so but it still isn't on the same level of being non-problematic as windows.

Edit: Cannot talk about Win 11. Touched it once. If I need to upgrade, fuck that, going linux. Not worth it. At all.

Demdaru ,

Most people who don't know their stuff uses nvidia. Happily slowly changing, but nvidia is everywhere, at least where I live. And people who don't know stuff still hold onto "green good, red hot and bad".

How do you break Windows except by downloading malware? It literally hides, or rather masquarades it's settings from you and makes it hard to do anything bad to it. My grandpa uses Windows - I thought about introducing him to linux to breathe second life into his PC but...I doubt he would be able to do much with it. I cede point towards Android.

How is Win 11 new default? I may be out of the loop, but is it now majorly used? If so, I cede all because the only time I tried to use it, goddamn first-time registration died on me. Like, fully. Unfixable. What a mess.

And yeah, again, the boot bricking isn't on linux it's just me being an idiot. Also I love how fast you picked up how I broke the boot.

Nah. 3 places.

  • Appdata subfolder
  • Documents
  • Game installation folder

Savegame folder is then placed either ina folder with game name or studio name, so easy to check all these locations within minutes.

Let's not talk about rpgmaker games tho. I've seen them do some wacky shit with gamesaves.

Edit: To make my point clearer, I disagree with person above me about their disagreement. Savegames on windows are predictable as hell. Thanks to person below for pointing out I didn't convey. :<

Demdaru ,

Heh, not a parent, just working against my chronotype or whatever it's called, still get it. Should go to sleep at 9pm at most...but I get my energy boost around 7-8 pm. So when I should go asleep I am most motivated abd have most energy for the day. Yay.

Demdaru ,

Also, old spider man 2 for PS2. God I hate the parks and low raise buildings in that game.

Demdaru ,

Because it's not meant to be hard handshake but firm handshake. Like, just don't go and give a person a sleazy weasel to shake and you're coolio.

Demdaru ,

Hahaha...yes we are, thus "roaming" prices. At least where I live, there is higher price and/or additional costs when calling outside home country.

It's kinda fair tho looking at the fact that providers need to negotatie using each others infrastructure for this to work.

Demdaru ,

Own an old HP.

Daaaamn this printer good!

Need new one. Get HP cuz gud, reliable and known.

Get betrayed

Demdaru ,

For people who know their stuff, sure. But for people who use printers cadually? Decade old still good.

Demdaru ,

Lol, european here from country that got buttsexed by ussr back in the day. Fuck off with communism. Period.

However. Socialism is something hella important and should baselined across the world. People need safety net in their lives.

Funny thing is, if you say "socialism" where I live a lot of people will bare they fangs at a commie. But shorten it to social and all people think of is said safety net. Suddenly no problem. Heh.

Demdaru ,

It's similiar, not the same. From what I recall, Americans didn't have their country violently buttfucked behind a curtain, something that is still visible where I live - thankfully less so in the country itself, but it's still embedded into people.
And I don't fear communism. I despise it. I do admit, maybe unjustly. Hard to feel otherwise though, seeing effects of one of the greatest, or at least highest scale shots at it's implementation.

However, yeah, my definition of socialism must be fucked, will educate myself further before making fool out of myself again. :|

Demdaru ,

To be quite honest, it seems to me - and I can be wrong - that it simply substituted power of wealth for power of position. Where I live I know that during occupation people were deemed as important based on where they worked - because where they worked dictated what they could steal obtain, be it items, access or favors.

There always will be someone on top, one way or the other. In capitalist society, it's the guy who has the most money. In co- ... socialist...? society it's the guy with most connections.

Demdaru ,

There's a single double-socket outlet a little to the left of the sink! Good luck :3

Demdaru ,

Cuz Firefox was for a long time just some shiiiiiiit. It was overloaded, blocky, seemed outdated etc., so ie wasn't any worse. When chrome came, whooo.

Now tho, I am simply still prejudiced against it. And I found Edge suits me ideally so I don't care for any other browser. Until my adblock stops working, then I'll run.
