Sounds to me like either your doctor's billing department or your insurance company sucks. (Or both)

In the decade I've had my current insurance, I don't think I've ever had to call them.

I still think our healthcare system is absolute bullshit, but I don't think this is a specific problem inherent to it.

Incidentally, I work at a manufacturing company where the production crew are all union, but administration are not; so the blue collar guys are guaranteed annual raises, while us worthless white collar schmucks have to fight tooth and nail for every penny.

    I thought this was just going to be a matter of poor security implementation or crappy feature sets.

    Turns out they converted the company into a loan shark operation owned by Chinese ad companies

    when the Opera browser continued losing users (due to competition from Google and Apple), the company shifted gears to building mobile apps that provided predatory short-term loans. The interest rates on those loans ranged from 365-876% per year, and loan terms from 7-29 days.
