Evil_Shrubbery ,

Its the live action comics franchise we deserve.

Evil_Shrubbery , (edited )

What 'face' does the penis make when tasting citrussy?

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Kinda burns a bit, do recommend.

But pineapple is better.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

.... isn't her stupid-rich family ... nvm.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

The solution is GOG (their business model).

You get the individual keys, no DRM.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

And to how many already played games you return to bcs not enough energy to start a brand new game (especially with rich/complex lore).

Yeah.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Bird, doing bird things, on his way to file a report at the agency.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Hard agree.

Some evil cabal intolerant to vast variety of species orchestrated mass extinction so that now we are all this uniform fish-bird things.

I want to go back.

I spent a 2+ years and all my personal savings making this game (alone). I love survival games, but I also like cooking... so how about survival game with realistic cooking & eating animations? (programming.dev)

Here is the Steam link if anyone interested in: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3054440/The_Short_Snow/

Evil_Shrubbery ,

I don't mean to be passive-aggressive, animations are really hard (especially to produce on game-wide scale alone), but I love those in-sync doggos, choreographed tails like they are about to start a (good-)boy band.

A supermarket trip may soon look different, thanks to electronic shelf labels (www.npr.org)

Grocery store prices are changing faster than ever before — literally. This month, Walmart became the latest retailer to announce it’s replacing the price stickers in its aisles with electronic shelf labels. The new labels allow employees to change prices as often as every ten seconds....

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Yes, this is regularly seen throughout Europe for years.

You can buy such tags in bulk from China, they are very cheap at any scale really (and their use isn't limited to just pricing).

But yes, I think some EU countries already have laws preventing price changes throughout the day or (to some extend) price differences between eg countryside and cities.

I think there should be an EU directive for this tho.

Evil_Shrubbery , (edited )

... I don't work with customers and that's exactly how I deal with by coworkers.

And people I randomly meet throughout the day (including eg employees at a store).

For me these are just rules on how to deal with humans.

Now if I see a cat that's a completely different story:

  • I'll maintain eye contact (and blink slowly),
  • give them my full name and address for purposes of visiting,
  • will accept headbutts,
  • will actively agree with their meows & acknowledge just how right they are,
  • will apologise when I eventually have to leave,
  • will thank them for their time (with some more pats),
  • will live in the knowledge we fully understood each other in our little talk.

Additionally I will vow to visit again.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

This one rally hurt me, such a huge emotional drag, so little understanding, such hopeless situation.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Not in the corporate cards as of yet, margins too delicious.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

With all these RISC dev boards and laptops Im getting ao much hope & renesanse for the future I haven't felt in a very long time.

While I understand that 'runs Debian' means 'nothing but core works, this is for devs, not end users' I really think this could be the global push towards open source hardware & software (with laptops such as these phones are soon to follow).

Evil_Shrubbery ,

I se open sourcing all the things the way out of or beyond capitalism/communism/feudalism, a gateway for people to understand.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Not if it's on a fully encrypted separate disk.

(Obligatorily: 'Also if you dont have Windows.')

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Dang.

Hope new medical advancements will keep making your life increasingly easier, and perhaps one day even restore your boot partition wheel.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Yes, that works too, same principle.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Yes.

Always cast those two the other way around.

Mended crack full of explosive diarrhoea acts the same as cast fireball but with poison damage.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Spread those sandy checks, Im about to collect all the sand with by cum bucket.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

... so dumb ... but I desperately want to experience the tactile feel of inserting one of these bad boys into that deep tight little jack ... :|

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Oooohhhhh!! "Sounding", now I get it!

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Ikr? I tried it & I can only hear static!!

Sounding my ass ... wait, maybe that's it! Maybe I had it all wrong ... brb

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Omgyeesss, that last tak hits so climaxingly good!

Evil_Shrubbery ,

smaller, cheaper

Just say better.

They are better vehicles and the ad campaigns for 'bigger, more expensive' vehicles are finally hitting their stupid wall.

Now lets do SUVs next.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Its amazing how fast it's developing, hard to believe it's only two years old, yet it seems like yesterday at the same time.

Fantastic devs!

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Same ... but these are polymers.

Using the same principals of data storage on/in a large "single crystal" could offer way more longevity.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

I myself welcome the era of orb pondering!

Evil_Shrubbery ,

... wait, what do the remaining 1 out of 10 Hollywood actresses use?

I bet it's kebab based markup.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Not only that, but they will provide it in 120 different colours (same product/service tho)!

Not to mention they will have a rainbow logo during pride month.

Oh, and you can invest in both of their stocks & demand them to boost their profits & pay you more dividends.

What? No, ofc that wouldn't cause inflation, there is no relation between the two, absolutely none whatsoever. Its just how the invisible hand of the market works (reacharound included only for the few).

Evil_Shrubbery , (edited )

In the olden days, I would have spent hours to fix it, completely forget everything I've done over the course of those several hours and then having to reinstall it bcs I've broken something else in those unsuccessful attempts and now dont have the energy to figure out this clusterfuck too.

Ahh, good memories.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

That was a decade+ ago, closer to two.

I've always had far more driver issues with Windows.

I have a niche laptop that for mic & speakers doesn't really have drivers for that exact ID and a close (working) match are ancient, so can't avoid crackling sounds. No issues out of the box with Linux.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Soft landing saved the day, but just a little further and he would have been in some real shit.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

The more butts it plugs the more brutalismer it is.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Vigorously!

With gusto!

Like it owes me money!

And ofc, just so that the clap if it's asschecks will alert all the guards.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Same. But by face is stable - much like the valid person in the pic, the expression never changes.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Fleshlight designs are getting weird (they were getting weird before too, it's just that now also).

What tips or resources would you recommend to someone who knows about Linux and wants to self-host, but has no experience self-hosting?

I have several years of Linux experience and I know how to fix my own problems, and I have experience self-hosting using Docker and Docker Compose, but I really feel that I don't know how to self-host and that I just copy and paste commands without understanding it, I would really like to learn how to self-host by myself but I...

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Yes, Proxmox, on basically any device, expand as heart desires from there (assuming some areas/services are more within your interest or liking - an ez way to speed up the knowledge assimilation).

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Yeah, not to mention some low level engineers that built it only using a hairpin, a hammer, and a lithography machine ... (ofc joking, but I bet there are like five nerds that basically made it all happen).

Evil_Shrubbery ,

Icelands too. Their compression grates mountains.

But if you want you bodies flatt asap, nothing works as perfectly as an industrial press.

Evil_Shrubbery ,

As long as Hanna Montana Linux is installed directly on bare metal, all is good!
