depends on where you are. i bought a new house 3 years ago and within a year the value of my house had increased nearly 100k.

In these situations 6 months is exactly what I'd imagine. Where I live I can't imagine any house staying vacant for 6 months. It costs more to rent a house here than it does to buy one. My mortgage payment is $1400/month, but I could rent my house for over $3k a month. it's ridiculous.

I get frustrated with these platforms trying to turn into these 'do it all' applications. discord was fine before they started adding all the bullshit in everywhere. it was a great chat place with 'rooms' for different groups of people or friends. kinda like how spotify seems to be trying to morph into some social music sharing crap. i don't use spotify to be social, i use it to listen to fucking music.

I canceled my prime over a year ago but previously have been a prime member since 2003. the two day shipping thing was legit for a lot of those years but has been anything BUT two day shipping for at least the last 5 years. week if you're lucky.

if you're in the states try Walmart. they have a marketplace similar to what amazon does and they have a large catalog of goods.

You must not pay attention, I'm new to Lemmy, but Reddit's been garbage for years. Seems like a lot of that garbage made it's way to Lemmy too. Face it anything that you can hide behind a screen and a keyboard with relative anonymity is fucking shit. It outs people for the kind of person they REALLY are when they don't have to face the repercussions of saying shit to someones face.

No single LED lightbulb I've ever purchased lasts as long as they claim. infact, many have been outlasted by existing incandescent bulbs in my house. your joke fodder is safe.
