Probably because they worked on one of the many shows that have been pulled from streaming sites lately.

For example: Discovery is basically taking an axe to the shows on HBO Max and recently pulled another 87 shows and movies from it's service.

Development costs, lack a research into it, and a lack of companies willing to take on that financial risk for a (mostly) untested market

Not to mention the costs of such a device with any kind of feature set other than just a glorified screen

Undeniably there's been some tech developments that could lead in such a direction but there's still some substantial hurdles to clear first

ChatGPT ain't good at moth from what I keep hearing.

For quick short hand for X generations it's been in the family: 30 years per generation is a good short hand.

For example: 1 generation is me (30), 2 generations is my dad(60), 3 generations is grandpa(90), 4 generations is great-grandpa(120), etc.

Mine are closer to 20 and past the last 2, the lower side of 20. And one generation awhile back was... Too close by a good margin of you catch my meaning.

At the time I started using Google Pay, existing and being from a company I had heard of. Not to mention on Android it was just there for you to use, you didn't have to download another app.

My roommate and I considered using PayPal but his PayPal account got locked and to this day a decade later, never unlocked.

I'm going to be looking into both Venmo and Zelle now though.

I don't see any real hope for change. We have no good leaders in this country, and it's been the same throughout our history. So many people I know have either totally lost themselves in drugs and alcohol (understandable tbh) or offed themselves (also understandable). I'd like to think I could make a difference and try to live...

People really underestimate the importance of local politics

Also, voting for a candidate you more align with instead of a candidate you perfectly align with is politics in a nutshell. You'll never find the perfect candidate unless you yourself are that candidate and you won't be the perfect candidate to anyone else.

    As a cis dude: Yeah women's deodorant is quite nice to wear

    A lot of men's deodorants (when they do say what they smell like) are shit like leather, bourbon, smoke, tobacco, engine bay, etc. And our shampoo selection ain't much better.

    A lot of the data in the video file you take isn't that visible but it's there for when you put it in editing software

    For example: if you took that lower sized YouTube rip and threw it into editing software to tinker with the brightness (as a simple example) you quickly start getting artifacts whereas the video you took would be able to handle the editing without the artifacts much better as there's more data to work with

    Basically the YouTube video has had all the extra data scrapped off that it doesn't need because it's not going to be edited, it's only going to be viewed

    Drawing can be more of group thing and can turn into conversation. Like asking them about what they're drawing etc.

    Being on the phone is a more of a personal experience and has less opportunities for conversation and whatnot

    I've got ADHD as well (mines inattentive)

    I find doodling to be a good addition, especially if I'm having lunch with fellow doodlers

    Because not only does it keep my hands busy so I stop bouncing my legs but it can also feed into conversations as well (once has lunch with a fellow doodler who we sketched stuff behind each other, it was really fun)
