LodeMike ,

You know what? Fuck you (installs windows 11 on your computer)

LodeMike ,

Least threatening Windows behavior

LodeMike ,

Are they making customers mail them back? They'll probably go for $20 plus shipping if not.

LodeMike ,

Oh god there's round corners?

LodeMike ,

Well time to not buy it. I have a pixel 7a and the rounded corners drive me nuts, not to mention the home punch idiocracy. The phone renders a rectangle show me a rectangle.

LodeMike ,

I feel like there's more than 1.5 pixels per corner taken out.

LodeMike ,

3 pixels in each corner? Why?

LodeMike ,

I wanted the higher resolutuon display for my existing framework but just... Why????

LodeMike ,

Yes I know it's an R&D thing I just dont get with the obsession with rounded screen corners.

LodeMike ,

For?.. Is it just another proprietary RCS extension?

A Ticketmaster hack spilled sensitive data for 560 million customers, hackers say (qz.com)

ShinyHunters posted on Tuesday night in a hacking forum that it obtained data from Ticketmaster and its parent company, Live Nation, including customers’ names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, and order details, Cyber Daily wrote. The group is reportedly attempting to sell the stolen data for $500 million....

LodeMike ,

All those convenience fees hard at work I see.

LodeMike ,

👍

Does anyone have reccomendations for a good (open source) Android keyboard mine doesn't have a search function for emoji

LodeMike ,

That's actually what I'm using

LodeMike ,

In Tor browser? No you don't.

LodeMike , (edited )

Hi. I wasn't helpful. There's two cases for what you might want. Tor presumably doesn't letterbox if you set the resolution in Dev tools, such as if you want to take a screenshot. (Open Dev tools, click on the phone icon, set resolution at top. OR you could use the For daemon's proxy on a regular browser.

LodeMike ,

Oh. Nvidia wants them to train AI shit...

LodeMike ,

There's also items in people's accounts

LodeMike ,

Yes, I know, and people should have access to them. Just share passwords with loved ones and they can take the items out eventually. Steam needs to do things like this because publishers are assholes who want it.

LodeMike ,

Literally why would it do that

LodeMike ,

Yes but why? Is it so less data can be stored on disk because compressing raster files absolutely does not make them easier to display.

LodeMike ,

The fuck? Is water free in that town?

LodeMike ,

Because the quote poster is using it wrong. She should have replied. Quote posting is supposed to be used like a screenshot of the original post but not a screenshot.

LodeMike ,

I'd assume the excuse is "multiple households using one tap would strain it" or something??

LodeMike ,

Yes I know but if the police are doing it there's gotta be a law and that law presumably had some discussion.

Google Search’s “udm=14” trick lets you kill AI search for good | Ars Technica (arstechnica.com)

Tack "&udm=14" on to the end of a normal search, and you'll be booted into the clean 10 blue links interface. While Google might not let you set this as a default, if you have a way to automatically edit the Google search URL, you can create your own defaults.

LodeMike ,

I've found that search engines in general, including Google, really don't like to listen to the whole thing I typed in.

LodeMike ,

Do they have encryption?

LodeMike ,

So that the messages aren't sitting unencrypted on the XMPP servers.

LodeMike ,

I pay $5 for mobile service lol

LodeMike ,

Mobilex

Best part is that it's verizon too, not ATT or TMobile

LodeMike ,

Can't you literally delete an open file and its fine?

LodeMike ,

Any program can do that assuming they keep the file open. Its an OS thing.
