I'll have to give this kagi a shot I never heard of it! DDG just doesn't ever seem give me what I want and I've been trying it forever. It's like I'm always playing this cat and mouse game with the search engine and it just gives me alllllmost what I want but not quite.

I have this problem or it will play for like 3 seconds and then buffer for a bit, play 3 seconds, buffer, repeat for infinity. No matter what I do I have one of these issues with Firefox and any adblocker and it's super annoying.

No no you don't understand. Since Scar Jo played a female voice that behaved nicely and made jokes in a movie she now owns the rights to any female (or feminine male voice) that either: makes a joke, says something witty, answers a question, or makes a statement.
This is a slam dunk case for Scar Jo. I will also be sued for writing this as she also wrote an email in a movie once that had words in the forms of sentences just like this post so I'm screwed.

Absolutely not saying you're right or wrong at all. But I'm curious, does you're opinion change at all considering that the majority of users on tik tok are under the age of 18?

You're totally right. I misspoke. I should have said the largest demographic I suppose. I meant that users under the age of like 21 are by far the biggest "piece of the pie" of users.

I'd push back a little that it's not a kids app tho. I think they are targeting teens and young adults as the primary demographic but I could definitely be persuaded out of that. But having worked in a high school for the last 4 years, I can at least say that tik tok is those kids LIFE lol. It is all they think about. Eat sleep and dream tik tok with like YouTube and Instagram in the background.

Also I didn't mean at all that the app was pushing "minor" content or fetishizing young kids or anything in any way. That's my mistake if it came off like that. I more meant to ask if the user was okay with users giving their data away even if they were a teenager as they would obviously be either much less "informed" or just don't care about where their personal data is sent or why.

But I guess it doesn't matter. This is like the tenth time I've asked an honest question just got down voted a ton and not even answered lol I guess the lesson is to just not ask questions idk my bad

Clarify allowed. Is it actually illegal in the EU to turn on the radio or air conditioning while driving unless the buttons allow you to do it from the steering wheel?

I've been in this game for a good bit now and while I've seen a bunch of go getters put in ridiculous hours and slave away and actually get promoted, I have seen faaaaaaar more just get promoted for being in the right place at the right time or, most times, being the child, spouse, in-law, or friend of someone high up in the company. In my experience your social standing or just plain luck accounts for about 90% of it. The other 10% isn't the work you do, it's the work they think you do.

This is right where I am. The funny (and ofren annoying) part is, if I talk with someone from either side they automatically assume I'm the polar opposite of them. People on the far left thing I'm a trump loving maga hat wearing Republican because I don't love Biden or a lot of the democratic policies. People on the right think I'm left wing extremist that wants to abort all babies and murder Jesus Christ with the LGBTQ+ militia because I don't love everything Republican. You simply cannot exist in the middle with most people. I can't get these people to realize I just hate all of them lol

I think the key thing is most people don't like change. They know stroads. They may not love stroads but they work and it's what they've used. I've been all over the place in this country and by and large public transportation SUCKS and creates more headaches than anything. Just hopping into a car is 1000x easier. So that's the view I think most people go into this with. In the cities where public transportation is good, it's a complete game changer, but they are few and far between so most people don't have a good reference point. They see people pushing public transportation and think of their own shitty system and say F that.

That's really interesting. I've lived in 9 states and I can honestly say that outside of the southeast, it is legitimately difficult to consistently find people that dont think the us is a flaming sack of shit or at least headed that way. Seriously, I've heard waaaaaaaaaaaaay more negative talk on the us from Americans than anything positive. Especially in like the last decade. But this place is so damn big that anyone's experience would vary a crazy amount so that makes sense.
