Aren't there only two cat breeds? Every other variation is a mutation or a coat pattern.

Lucid Motors drops the price of its cheapest EV by more than $8,000 (www.yahoo.com)

Lucid Motors drops the price of its cheapest EV by more than $8,000::Lucid Motors is lopping thousands of dollars off the price of its most affordable electric sedans as it looks to boost demand after a disappointing year of sales. The rear-wheel drive version of the base model Lucid Air Pure will now start a $69,900, down from...

Let me know when someone makes a convertible sports coupe/roadster EV with more than 400bhp for under $30K (and not made by Tesla). That's when I'll start shopping for an electric vehicle. I'm so fed up with all these boring sedans and SUVs with only three "color" options: black, white, and gray.

Also, my HOA will have to install chargers in my condo complex as well, cause I refuse to be like those rich idiots who have to sit in a parking garage for hours at a time while they wait for their Tesla to charge.

    Psythik ,

I have 5G home internet. Downloads are twice as fast (and uploads 8x faster) than cable here—the next fastest available service—for half as much. No arbitrary bandwidth cap, either.

Bose introduces their new Ultra Open Earbuds. “Their cuff-like fit leaves your ears totally open so you can still hear the world around you”

Open almost always means no bass (unless you're spending $500+ on planar magnetic), so I'll pass.

Semi-closed back is the way to go. Best of all worlds (good sound stage + good bass).

DuckDuckGo Introduces E2EE Backup and Sync Feature on Browser (restoreprivacy.com)

The project announced today the introduction of a new feature called “Sync & Backup,” which allows users to import bookmarks, passwords, and personal settings from other browsers to DuckDuckGo. Moreover, it enables users to move that data from one device to another or restore it on a new device in case they lose their...

Both DDG and Google search is so bad these days that I actually started using Bing. At least with Bing, you can ask the AI to find that specific thing for you. Works almost as well as simply adding site:reddit.com to all of your DDG searches, sometimes better even.

It's basically a 2 way radio with tools for those who like to mess with the radio spectrum. That's the most simple explanation I can make for such a device.

    Psythik ,

    They were being sarcastic.

    Psythik ,

If you have ADHD, your coding style is a combination of all of these, and sometimes none of the above.

    Psythik ,

    You took psychedelics too, huh?

    Psythik ,

You'd understand if you've done psychedelics before.

    Psythik ,

Firefox is less sketchy, and is one of the last browsers left that isn't based on Chromium. Just saying.

    Psythik ,

Dude cashed out right at the peak, then took his money and travels the world with it. Tom never has to work another day in his life.

    Psythik ,

As someone with ADHD, the last person is the most relatable.

    Psythik ,

    Every fucking time.

    Psythik ,

My favorite thing in the world is when the top search result on Google leads to a post from someone telling me to use Google.

    Psythik ,

The only people I could see this feature helpful for is those with synesthesia.

    Psythik ,

Earth is fucked; I need money.

    Buy Bitcoin.

    Psythik ,

It recently got ETF approval by the US government, so hate to break it to you, but this "scam" is here to stay.

If you're wise, you'll buy in now while the price is still relatively cheap.

    Psythik ,

And for those who don't know: you don't have to buy a whole coin at once. Buy as little or as much as you can afford to put in.

    Psythik ,

You know, you could just not pay it. Hospitals can't jail you for not paying, nor can they refuse you service.

The only thing that happens is your credit score goes down. That's it. (And pretty soon that won't be a thing anymore.)

So don't stress it; ignore medical debt.

    Psythik ,

It's still there; just buried in a menu now.

    Psythik ,

Yup, removing useful features is kind of Google's thing.

I still mourn the death of the Menu button in Android.

    Psythik ,

Nor Voyager. Good thing I wasn't at work cause the image just popped up when I entered the comments.

    Psythik ,

    MSEdgeRedirect will fix that problem.

    Psythik ,

Yeah I've been using it in Win11 for over a year with no issues. It works perfectly for making sure everything always opens in Firefox (or whatever browser you use). Happy to help.

    Psythik ,

I'm 35 and I'm still not sure that I'm old enough to get married yet.

    Psythik ,

Aren't there already a bunch of forks of Firefox already? How will one more help anything?

    Psythik ,

For once Florida is doing something good.

At least it would be if they weren't simply doing this to prevent kids from becoming more informed.

On the contrary, I find it more ridiculous when news media pretends like nothing is wrong over at Twitter HQ. I wish more journalists would call Musk out like this every time they're forced to mention Twitter.

    Psythik ,

Professionalism was thrown out the window the moment orange man became president. The Republicans play dirty, so everyone else has to as well, or else they'll walk all over us. Taking the high ground is a dead concept.

    Psythik ,

I have ADHD so I forgot what we were talking about even before I started commenting.

    Psythik ,

That's what you get for buying a CeLOLron

    Psythik ,

You paid €200 for a celery stick!?!?

    Dude.

    Psythik ,

Hell, my Watch 4 Classic needs to be charged daily as well, but I think it's mostly because I have it continuously monitoring my heart rate + stress levels and I use the always on display setting extensively cause I want my watch to look like a watch.

    Psythik ,

*laughs harder in UBlock Origin on PC and Adguard DNS (free) on mobile*

    Psythik ,

Settings > Type "DNS" into the search > set it to dns.adguard-dns.com > done.

    Psythik ,

Shit like this is why I started using imgur alongside Lemmy. They're no better than reddit was, but I need my memes.

    Psythik ,

Older medicine cabinets have a slot in them for this very purpose. A lot of people living in old homes probably have a razor blade slot or two and don't even realize it.

    Psythik ,

All I want is a game that doesn't feel like a game. As in no invisible walls, no repetitive game mechanics, no duplicate assets, and unpredictable AI, for starters. Such a game has yet to exist.

    Psythik ,

What about 4K 120Hz with HDR? How well does that work on Linux with nVidia?

    Psythik ,

Good to know, thanks. I want to switch so badly but last time I checked, HDR support on *nix is still in its early stages. I'll check it out.

    Psythik ,

Man, what are you talking about? YouTube has always been slow. It got even worse when they forced everyone to use dash playback, and that was over a decade ago.
