It’s more of recognition that the internet is not the Wild West it used to be. Your anonymity is dependent on how much you are worth to track, and that value shrinks every day. If you want to buy cheaper video games, or watch geo locked Netflix content you are fine… for now. But the US government has been offering VPNs for people wanting to be anonymous for a wile now. So its not extreme for china to do it too.

Just checked it and it depends. On WORD, it removes the text, in EXCEL it does not (until pasted elsewhere)

Ehh, embellishing its meaning a bit. I didn’t recall if it would remove the text when initially cut and replace it if was not pasted. Turns out when i tested these, it depended on the program on how it acted.

    You are assuming that leftward momentum is what the democrats want. I am sure a couple do, but the establishment democrats showed their hands when the super delegates prevented actual progress, and shut down referendums that won to establish ranked voting on state’s levels. Without motivation to change they will not because they got theirs.

    And no i don’t want fucking trump being president, using his presidency to quash his lawsuits, damn Ukraine, damn Palestine, sell off what little progress our civilization made to fighting climate change, remove further rights from the vulnerable groups, establishing Christianity as the national religion, kill off all our agent for money, establish the president breaking the law as a with qualified immunity, rewriting the history books, burn and silence dissenting thought, further pollute the judicial system with cronies, and pardon neo nazi criminals.

    It just sucks knowing that no matter what i do the US is directly responsible for yet another genocide, and in 4 years it will be de santis or who knows trump running yet again, and it will again be “now is not the time to rock the boat, vote blue no matter who, or else “”democracy”” will end…again” now and forever more as justification to block actual change and then force conservative democrats to win the primaries.

    I mean you could do that remotely, but there is a an assurance that someone is putting some meat on the line.

    But eventually i think we are going to reach Onicron: Nomads Soul, territory. Where you rent a car service on call, there’s no parking and the cars are always running, and cycled out for cleaning and bullet hole filling.

    I think even skimming under the noise limit won’t remove the annoyance of these things. And why is it even necessary to blow grass clippings off the sidewalk? If it’s really that bad it didn’t take much more effort to just sweep them back on the grass.

    So these states that are imposing these measures and forcing porn sites like pornhub to pull out, are doing it “for the children”

    But the only porn sites that comply are the ones who are trying to legitimize themselves to protect people. Like porn hub lost over 1/3 of their catalogue over the verification of the actors in their content. To remove revenge porn and other abuse.

    That forces everyone to use the porn sites that do not care about exploitation nor the rules of these states. Pushing people tword crime like prohibition.

    And still nothing stops children from binging porn

    You misunderstand, the loss in content was a prior thing. It may have a different thing pushing that. My point being that porn hub is able to be accountable, or at least held accountable for their content. And they are pushed out of the market in these states, which leaves only the bad actors to make profit of the vacuum

    Teenagers still have unfettered access to porn, they have just been restricted from better curated and less exploitive porn.

    Oh yea, it comes with a 14 page PDF in small print that tells you what each field contains using the most obtuse verbiage. Then with a simple click of a button it does simple arithmetic to calculate all the numbers you plug in. But you don’t have any help on deductions. Is a thrift savings plan a Roth? Depends on when the savings plan gets taxed. Is it taxed? When i put money in or pull money out, but before or after i turn retirement age, which goes up every few years. Input all the taxes you didn’t pay by buying things online. Does livelihood depend on tips for some ungodly reason? Hope you did well because the government kinda just averages a guess how much you should be tipped. For the love of god don’t add BA though BH unless something you would know when if so.     I don't like Biden either, but anyone with half a brain knows there are two choices in the 2020 election. If we had a sane voting system, voting third party might be worth it, but as it stands, no one but you knows your favorite candidate exists and unless you want to become their campaign manager that will still be true in...

    Its never time to reshape the Democratic Party. If the democrats win, it will be too early to fix the Democratic Party for millions of reasons. And four years pass and every campaign promise is ignored, and all of a sudden it’s back to 1. Beat the new threat to “democracy” 2. Fix the Democratic Party… ad nauseam forever.

    I think that the threat of losing to trump is the most powerful leverage progressives and leftists have at getting actual reformation of the party, and this election is the democrats race to lose.

    So right now everyone who is pissed at Biden or the democrats, should be letting their anger known and be as loud as possible about it

Sounds like people who are happy with a right wing Democratic Party don’t want the disenfranchised to have a say. Right now is THE time to call out Biden for his horse shit. And if he loses the next election, that’s not on the disenfranchised voters, that’s on the democrats for disenfranchising their voters. If we ever get ranked choice voting i will most Likely never vote democrat again. And i wonder if that’s why they kill voting reform
