They usually do if they don't use kernel level anti cheat. But it's a bit more complicated than Steam. There are guides online. It's manageable but it's not "click play and you're done" like steam

Fairphone 5 can force slow charging via settings. I use it all the time because I usually charge over night and it helps preserve battery life.

theonyltruemupf ,

For most users it probably just comes down to what is installed on their machine when they buy it. People generally don't think about operating systems a whole lot.

theonyltruemupf ,

I had been doing that since 2018 and this year I realized I hadn't booted to Windows for years and uninstalled it.
I'm not a Linux expert at all, I use the GUI for 99% of tasks and I'm having a great time.

theonyltruemupf ,

It's so much more convenient to play locally though. Just press the button and you're back where you left. No need to boot up the PC, start the game, establish the connection.

theonyltruemupf ,

I love that feature so much. I have played through at least 20 backlog single player games with my deck. Amazing games that I could never finish before because it's apparently too much to ask for my brain.

theonyltruemupf ,

I use lots of Spotify but almost exclusively albums front to back

theonyltruemupf ,

There is also Mint Debian if you want Mint. But honestly, distro doesn't matter at all to most users. Pick any desktop environment that looks nice to you and go for it.

Millions of dollars of pay are always absurd but this really puts it into perspective

Are you actually fucking insane? How does the Israeli government literally own the US government? That's not even true figuratively. What the fuck are you saying

theonyltruemupf ,

?

theonyltruemupf ,

A promotional video of a lobby organization says they're doing a good job, therefore the Israeli government owns the US government?

theonyltruemupf ,

I hate, hate hate that english news headlines don't write "and". It's barely longer than a fucking comma, what's the point?

theonyltruemupf ,

If it were for security reasons, they wouldn't allow work devices in the WiFi at all (which is a very reasonable policy)

theonyltruemupf ,

They are making an effort though. Every other manufacturer also produces in China. Fairphone at least pays the workers better and tries to make the supply chain as ethical as possible.

theonyltruemupf ,

Honestly, stock KDE is pretty nice, i barely change a thing and feel right at home.

theonyltruemupf ,

In Germany that's the average for AMAB adults. Not short by any means, but not tall either.

With a quick Google search I can also find out why the earth is in fact a flat triangle. You need to use your critical thinking skills and evaluate sources.

There are states without hard limits, but it is not "legal to kill a 9 month old baby".

  1. Late term abortions are really rare and only performed if there is no chance of survival for the fetus while the mother is at risk.

  2. If these horrible conditions are met, doctors will find out well before the 9th month, often before the 3rd trimester.

Main problem is that Android sucks too. The mobile OS market is a burning dumpster fire controlled by two of the biggest companies in the world.
My point is I use arch btw and I'd like to do so on my phone as well. (With it still being practical)

theonyltruemupf ,

That's true and pretty cool and I will always choose Android over iOS, but it's still a bad system. I want a phone architecture where I can just slap an OS on there like it's a PC and upgrade to new versions until the hardware craps out. But I can't

Standard PDF reader on Android is small but nice!

Why would I carry my groceries in a plastic bag or a collapsible box when I can just use a backpack? I can easily carry 15kg in my backpack.

I mostly go shopping with my bike though. I have huge bags that attach to the carrier and that can fit about a week of groceries for two people. I can transport even more with my bike trailer if I need to.
