Some time ago, I pulled this sticker off our old fridge before we got rid of it and put it onto my PC's side panel (don't ask me why, I guess I thought it looked cool). This isn't good, England are banning the shipment of all sorts of bladed objects.

I participate in HEMA, England ships a lot of our swords to Australia. They're banning the shipment of these kind of things and this will not help at all.

Man I live in Darwin, a kid I went to school with died from stepping on a stone fish, my cousin was taken by a crocodle. My brother was bit by a king brown and ended up in hospital for 2 weeks. My sister was bit by a redback spider.

My uncle caught Ross River virus and my other uncle died of meliodosis.

Your part of Australia in the blue mountain's might be good and safe, except for the incest mountain family.

My part of Australia is reasonably dangerous still

You can inspect 80 forklifts in a day? That's 10 every hour in an eight hour shift. That's 7.5 minutes a forklift every day all day.

Including prestart paperwork? Oil levels, belt conditions, operational check of each one and all the functions?

I don't think so, having been in both sides of the coin, a worker and a manager, there's a skill to dealing with people especially those who think they're better them what they are.

Along with dealing with all the internal interpsonal issues you have outside forces you need to deal with to ensure that those you manage have a job next week

Divide a metre by 4 and you get 0.25 meters or 25cm

Dived a foot by 4 you get 3 inches.

Dived a yard by 4 you get 9inches

Metric here wins in my opinion.

Now let's go by 3

1m by 3 is yes 33.3r not great but 1m is 100cm and that's how it is.

1ft by 3 is 4 inches. Sure looks great now.

Except size resolution is far greater in metric in simple forms

Every inch is 2.54 cm obviously they dont round up nicely.

Once we have to go smaller than an inch we need 15/16s of a inch, smaller then a cm we drop down to mm.

10mm makes a cm.

In super practical terms i need a spanner, 16mm is to big, i get the 15 next.

5/8 is to big what do i get next?

Also another argument is well whats if you need half a mm etc we just use 0.5m or
0.7mm etc

Very small sizes for most everyone day to day.

Sure it's not great breaking it too 0.whatever, but metric does it so much smaller as imperial made that jump to incorporate a size smaller then an inch.

1/4 inch is just 0.25 inches
