I think any organization that gets kids outdoors, teaches them social skills, builds self-esteem, and promotes community involvement is one worth praising. Too bad that the BSoA instead focused on hating the gays and raping boys. Maybe, just maybe, a name change is just a sign of some larger restructuring of the organization.

My bet is that there will still be operators behind the wheel to monitor diagnostics and actually ensure that things are going as planned. How many jobs are just "sit here and make sure the automated processes stay on track," already?

Bethesda's M.O. has always been to release a playable, if not bare and buggy, sandbox and let the modders liven it up and smooth out the experience. The only thing that's changed is that Starfield is fundamentally not a good game that modders aren't interested in messing with and would need almost a entire rebuild to get to that point.

The US auto market is being held hostage by the same five companies that want to force you to buy different variations of the same fuckhuge $34,999 (plus dealer tip) AWD, CVT-powered plasticmobile crossover thats loaded with features you never asked for. After several decades of exclusive rights, Comcast finally lost their legal monopoly in my town, and holy shit things are so much better. I'm paying $90 for 10gbs(!) fiber through a local provider when my parents back home are paying $30 more than that for 50mbs through Comcast.

The reason that conservativism is easier to maintain than leftism is because it's a race to a central point in the past versus an exploration into the future. In conservatism, everyone knows what the mission is.

    Electric cars don't solve every problem with private vehicle ownership but they're certainly a step in the right direction. Most EVs average an equivalent of more than 100mpg versus most ICEs, which are around 30-40. You can also power an EV with renewable resources. This isn't possible with ICEs (yes, I know you can power certain diesels with biofuel, but it's horribly inefficient).

    "Buying a new car is worse than keeping an old one" is an incredibly situational phrase that has a million exceptions for so many people.
