Same here! I just started to contribute stuff to MusicBrainz.

We buy a bunch of things on bandcamp friday if the bands are there, otherwise get it through other means (specially if we already have the LP)

Not saying Bandcamp are the good guys but at least you have an option. And today is Bandcamp Friday, when artists keep 100% of the sales!

We run our Navidrome server at home and listen to our music using clients such as Feishin and Tempo (Android).

I realized at somepoint I was ignoring everything on my phone because of the number of notifications. Now I disable EVERYTHING and only leave important stuff. I wish this was the default.

This is a very good example of a reply that doesn't help at all. Sorry.

You aren't aware of eveyones contexts so assuming everyone can simply ditch communication apps is very narrow minded. Many people have family members that aren't well versed in tech and in many situations calling isn't an option. My 70 years old mom for example would probably find easier to write me a letter and send it through mail than to learn how to use a new app (she can't call since we live in different countries). Whenever they even change the app layout is a pain.

I deeply hate Whatsapp with all my might but there are sacrifices that need to be done for people you care about.

LibreOffice literally looks exactly like MS Office in my computer, what are you talking about? It does take a little bit of configuration, but nothing you can't find with a quick search

Or you will need help and ask questions and people will assume you are "lazy asking" and be toxic just because you are a beginner and don't know stuff. Recently I've lost count on how many projects I joined some kind of communication space like Discord and left as soon as I saw how awful people can be when they want to gatekeep
