As a math nerd, I appreciate the fractaline nature of your paper.

But as an american, what is the practical advantage?? The sizes are so far apart, and you dont get papers with different ratios? Like for example Letter and Legal are both 8.5 inches wide, can be used in any standard cheap household printer, legal is just longer so you can fit more stuff on the page. Letter paper folds into thirds to fit snuggly in an envelope and legal folds into fourths. Other paper sizes are so niche and rarely used why does it matter if theyre a perfect mathematical ratio or not?

I'm probably bad at explaining it, but the ring doesn't make everyone invisible, just hobbits. The ring wants to be worn so that it can exert the most control over the wearer in an attempt to return to sauron, it tempts people to wear it by giving them a taste of what they desire the most and hobbits simply want to be left alone and not seen or bothered, which is why they just turn invisible. This is also why hobbits are the idea race to carry and protect the ring as they dont crave power so it is harder for the ring to corrupt them.

When talking about alcoholic drinks, "dry" is just the opposite of sweet. Vermouth has a slight sweetness to it, so use less vermouth to make the drink "dry".

Personally I like my martinis "dirty" (extra olive juice), with a good amount of vermouth. Sweet and salty with the floral notes of the gin in the background. If I wanted to just taste the gin then I'd put it in a shot glass and drink it straight instead.

One of the worst facets of capitalism is that in order to get richer, someone else has to get poorer, and its damn near impossible to stop that someone else from being someone who is already poorer than you. Its just how the system works. The more money you have, the easier it is to keep it, so anyone getting wealthier, even just climbing out of lower class is therefore indirectly pulling the ladder behind them without even knowing it. Capitalism is built upon ladder pulling.
