I would guess 80% of the people who watch these aren't actually watching them. Hell, background play is the real reason I pay for YouTube Premium. Not having to worry about ads is a nice bonus.

If something is marketed as "unlimited", I don't think there is such a thing as "wildly excessive use". This isn't a competitive eater going to an all-you-can-eat buffet and being mad about getting kicked out. It's a business using a service in a way that's seemingly in-line with what they paid for.

Yeah, I recently found a post there where a person wanted to modify a downloaded mesh. The first comment was telling them they would need years of experience to do it well. The OP responded that they had figured out a solution that they were happy with, to which someone told him that his results were shitty and then explained a way to do it better. When the OP got upset at this back to back dismissal, everyone unanimously decided they were an asshole.

I tried to switch my primary search engine on Firefox to DDG yesterday when I heard the news. 3 searches later, I switched back. I don't like Google, but damned if I'm not used to it.

Literally yes. It's called punching up, and it's pretty well accepted, culturally. It's basically the only trade-off to being vastly more likely to achieve economic and societal status.

I don't know about cheaper, a bottom of the barrel iron is like $10. More useful, for sure.

The band needs to be a flexible metal so that enough pressure is applied to the ear pads. If they were floppy, you wouldn't hear them very well.

This thread is wild to me as a shokz devotee. I use them for everything, no secondary set of headphones, music sounds good. I don't care about bass at all, though.

    How does the "kids support parents" thing work? As someone who doesn't make a lot of money, and who has a shitty relationship with my dad, that sounds like a nightmare. It's not my fault those bastards made me.
