Man I love cats and their little agendas and personal lives

Timecircleline ,

I mean without getting into the privacy nightmare piece, frequent hard braking probably means you have a habit of following too closely, or not paying attention to potential hazards and covering a brake. So I don't think the car manufacturer should supply it but also think it would be good to let the person with the habit know so that they can learn to be a safer driver?

Timecircleline ,

It'll be important for future students studying economics and how a rap battle stabilized the Toronto housing market.

Timecircleline ,

I don't know if it's really transphobic (though please correct me if I'm wrong). I think the joke is that dogs don't really have a concept of gender, hence it being a little bit absurdist for a dog to correct it.

Timecircleline ,

I enjoy this a lot. My favourite is either Luigiana/Waluigiana or the rename for Hawaii

Timecircleline ,

Of course, the "while painting" was implied. I'm so embarrassed I didn't clue in immediately.

Timecircleline ,

It seems like it could be a Far Side comic

Timecircleline ,

Man I wish my cats would cuddle like that. I mean, don't get me wrong, they're super cuddly. But they lie down like cats on me most of the time instead of like teddy bears.

Of course I know that cat is super unhealthy and will probably have a shortened lifespan and how unfair it is that they've done that to that poor animal but COMFY

Timecircleline ,

I guess everyone in this thread complaining about the image prefers their goombas circumcised? Needlessly mutilated? As helpless infants? For shame.

Smart speaker hears you sneeze and, tells tissue dispenser to say "bless you" and hand you a tissue.

Timecircleline ,

I don't think it's uncommon unfortunately for immigrants who make their money to then move to the right of the political spectrum from a "I got mine" point of view. The right welcomes these new voices because they can point at them and say they aren't racist, and that there aren't systemic issues, not recognizing that the individual who was successful was so in spite of the barriers.

Timecircleline ,

What is this CDR you speak of? Like blank CDs?

Timecircleline ,

Interesting! I operate fully outside of the realm of aerospace engineering, so this is news to me. I take it this is an opportunity for anyone to speak up if they have any concerns with any aspect of the design before it moves to the production phase?

Timecircleline ,

His socks are pulled up too high to not be a narc

Timecircleline ,

Fire departments aren't a great example because their bound to municipalities and I'm pretty sure the IAFF is the firefighter mafia.

Timecircleline ,

With a knife?? Why not a comb???

Timecircleline ,

Okay, that's a relief. I thought you were meaning to actually use a butterknife. I've only seen it done with rat tail combs so I was worried.

Timecircleline ,

Hey can't you read? It says DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL

Timecircleline ,

Yea but [AVincentinSpace]'ll always need them. I think having too many sucks to keep track of, but other than that I don't care for them

Fixed that for you by respecting AVincentinSpace's preferred (lack of) pronouns.

Timecircleline ,

Congratulations on your survival and escape!

Timecircleline ,

You're allowed a pc and a steam deck. There's no law against both.

Timecircleline ,

I've never heard the term "flushed the mouse". I tried to google it but all I got are -people flushing live mice down the toilet (?) and -the movie flushed away. Can you elaborate?

Timecircleline ,

Thank you! That's what I guessed from context but wasn't sure if it was a regional thing.

Timecircleline ,

There are still good people, friend, anywhere you go. Especially if you do try volunteering as the other commenter suggested, and there are tons and tons of various organizations always looking for good people depending on what your interests are.

If you just want to meet people and have no specific hobbies you can try volunteering at a hospital. Even a few hours once a week or every other week might really help with the loneliness.

Alt: "Choose your own radical identity" followed by an anarchist flag with half of it being blank. Next to it are crayons in different colors, referencing different anarchist orientations using different colours to fill the space. At the bottom it says: "A DIY activity book for ages 9-12"

Timecircleline ,

It's only recent history that has people going to the hospital to die. It used to be that "deathbeds" were in the home.

Timecircleline ,

Gotta pay for the carbon monoxide. I would use a speaker with infrasound.

Timecircleline ,

I'm curious on the stats. I don't doubt the likelyhood of home v. Hospital but just the mentality being a modern shift of the hospital is where you go when you're sick. Especially rurally it was less common (doctors did more home visits).

"Nothing to do with her being a woman" -uses word that has historically been used as a slur against women-

Right now I feel like MCM is having a moment sooooo maybe in twenty years the prices on this will go down and 80s style will be back in fashion?

Timecircleline ,

I want to learn how to produce the desired behaviour

Timecircleline ,

Like so it's only the last panel? Or if it's the comic minus the last panel? Or both?

Timecircleline ,

You have an eye-level mirror directly in front of your toilet?

Timecircleline ,

I guess I'm too short (or my posture is too bad lol)

Timecircleline ,

Yep, same with 8/10. Real faces are less symmetrical than AI

Timecircleline ,

Ooh that sounds good. What was the name of the story?

Timecircleline ,

Ah, I hope one day future civilizations dig up a Yelp review and we have our own Ea-Nasir, famous for serving cold garlic bread or something.
