People can have trauma from their parents, but still reconcile and have a good relationship later on. It is unfortunate when people assume everyone wants to get away from their parents. I would like independence, but rent prices. My parents lived alongside their parents for a long time, and I have a far better relationship with them than they did.

I am always grateful for my parents and never take for granted how lucky I am. I had serious psychological debuffs at spawn and quite frankly wouldn't be here if my parents didn't care about their children above all else. Everyone deserves the love and assistance I got at a minimum. I don't know how anyone thinks a world of such unequal opportunities could ever have a fair playing field.

Could've been cosmic rays for all we know. Risk factors just don't work like that. They're a real collective cost that must be taken seriously, but deaths are often hard to individually attribute. That sort of threat is far more difficult for people to understand.

This meme is a joke about intrusive thoughts that are obviously terrible ideas. This is one of the worst possible ideas for anyone ever, which is why we can have intrusive thoughts about doing it. It's our brain checking if we're paying attention to potential dangers, not directives we should follow. There's little point in learning how best to do something that should basically never be done to begin with.

Considering how bad the basic search function and file explorer have become, I bet it would make it harder to find what you're looking for. I already scroll past Google's new search engine AI, and I would probably learn to filter out the tips from programs like this because they're unreliable. Consistency is what actually helps me do things quicker, not features that change constantly to personalize the experience.

Of course Microsoft is evil. All companies are amoral machines driven only by profit. All basic search engines become more useless by the day, while Windows enshitifies in every way possible. The natural trajectory of all companies is monopoly, weakening all supposed benefits of capitalism by design. Capitalism requires heavy government intervention to ever benefit the customer, and by removing that as a viable option, liberal democracy has signed its own death warrant.

Yes he was. He assumed that the philosopher would know best how to serve the people rather than the people themselves. He failed to acknowledge that all people must have their own personal drives beyond seeking wisdom, with it being impossible for the monarch to be unbiased and driven only by reason. Reason has no drive of its own, never acting outside of servicing more base needs. Most monarchs will favor their own short sighted and selfish desires over those of the city.

I'm afraid it was explicitly not used an insult. The "femboy posture" plays on how femboys often pose in ways to accentuate their rear. If held regularly, it is unhealthy, but if you only do it briefly, it slays. It's a joke about how those poses can often be weird when viewed through a different lens, no on femboys themselves. Femboys are based.

As soon as I saw the pic of Trump's absurd posture, this meme was the first thing I thought of. Trump is literally the meme of hating everyone equally, meaning he isn't specifically bigoted outside of when it helps him. He's said some sus shit and is probably fine with doing fruity stuff for fun. He boasted about being pro gay in 2016, but he gladly supports homophobes and jumped on the queer panic whenever it helps. He's a narcissist with no inherent values based on identity. He's evil, but not primarily due to personal bigotry.

God's good wouldn’t be our good. "Good" cannot exist without a defined point of view. Even if God was awesome, he'd still have his own agenda and point of view. It might be good from many perspectives for no one to die or exploit others, but most people think harming those weaker than themselves for their own benefit is good. Capitalism and imperialism are good if you want to exploit others for selfish gain.

God would only be good if they were subservient to humanity rather than our "lord." No leader deserves respect beyond what we choose to give them based on how well they serve our interests.

I think it's the taboo nature in combination with it being a story behind the action. It's a plot involving a lot of emotions with minimal effort. I prefer childhood friends for that, but taboo is sexy to a lot of people. Full on incest stuff is annoyingly popular as well for some reason 🤮
