Firefox not only let's you view tabs from your PC on your phone, it let's you install extensions (like ublock origin) on the mobile browser

I don't think of apple browsers as anything other than flavored safari, so I forget to count that as firefox

mostly same here, with occasionally trying out some chromium based browsers, never understood why Firefox is referred to as an "alternative" by so many people, chrome is the alternative

Never played the first one, but I apparently have it on steam, probably not my type of game but they have enough of my interest to at least install it on my deck and try it

    So do I, this has resulted in my not careing about pretty much only anti-cheat games, which I already didn't care about...

    Legitimately haven't encountered anything else that just doesn't work barring the odd really old game that doesn't even work on windows anymore anyway

    Not sure what you mean by "top 3 games", while I've never been interested in anything that uses anticheat, literally everything else I try to play on it works

    Interestingly those are all games where the devs themselves decided not to be compatible, LoL was even compatible earlier this year before they implemented their current anti cheat system

    Personally speaking client side anti cheats, particularly those that run at kernel level, are something you'd have to pay me a significant amount to install on my computer, but that's me

    Out of curiosity, how many games have you had to get a refund in the past couple years? Becouse I haven't launched a game on linux sense I switched (2 years and a couple weeks ago) that didn't just work (barring some potential proton changes)

    I don't have any experience with multiplayer (so take it with a pinch of salt) but as I understand it if you try to connect to (for example) your friends game, but don't have any mods or games set up it will just set it up to match theirs

    So based on that it may be harder to set up initially, but only the host has to do it

    If I'm wrong about that someone please correct me

    I had almost the same thing for about 2 months before I gave up and switched to linux, only difference is I would get up to go to the bathroom, come back and it's already trying to up date, that happened to me pretty regularly

    I recently added windows to a separate drive on my linux machine, when I installed linux everything worked out of the box, meanwhile on windows I had to download the wifi drivers on a separate device and transfer them over to be able to even access the internet

    My issue with using jellyfin for audio probably isn't fixable by any external app, I need to be able to use the folder structure, with some content it's the only reasonable way to sort it

    Until then I'll still be using plexamp for my audiodramas

    I love jellyfin I just wish I could access folder view for my metric ton of audiodramas. Sorting by album, artist, etc works great for songs, but not for longer form interconnected media like that. my file structure is already sorted I just want to be able to view that with the same program that I view everything else with

    Why take it as proof of anything? I wouldn't know about google play alternatives as I havent launched that in years, and I've never had an iPhone, I only answered to the extent of my experience
