Fr I am curious now how it would actually be handled on house. I could see maybe an episode where hormone therapy being a red herring and all the debates the staff have. House with poor bedside manner with trans issues without being transphobic, Watson and Cameron being super sweet to overcompensate. Chase is insensitive but accepting,, he laughs and jokes around with stuff in the patient's house. Foreman is tolerant but secretly uncomfortable. Cuddy yells at house.

Speaking from general life experience, a lot of those fans are potential victims of the same treatment themselves minors/women

So if you have a child or friend that speaks like that, it is a red flag to pay closer attention to the people they build relationships with and their behavior. I'm not talking about protecting kids from drugs and sex, I mean protect them predators and abuse.

Good to know! Any recommendations of where I could post? I'm trying to update an old 2013 Mac so it can play robox and minecraft. I have a portable HDD to work with as well. And Mac is pretty damn foreign to me and it's so old. But damn for 10 years old it's fantastic and most of the specs were better than modern macs (dedicated graphics card for one)

    It's to show playfulness and that the artist doesn't feel THAT strongly, imagine how cold the comic would be without it.

    And then consider that women have been raised to be polite and apologetic to the point it is even a habit for most of us. I guess that's why I can't really see it as cringe even if I try.

    Yeah I don't think it is actually going to be particularly intrusive visually. It is based on data on games you play and stuff so one could argue that is intrusive. It's 6 months from now as they start getting more bold and greedy. The ads will get worse, they always do.

    That's so cool! Do you have a gallery anywhere of your work?

    I would love to get into jewelry design, metalsmithing, etc. It is such a satisfying way to work with your hands and science! Unfortunately as a hobby it requires actual property space not an apartment :,)

    Exactly!!! Locally they are trying to recall a school board member for basically being liberal. Mask mandates, covid policies, some sort of race related class or club... you know the real egregious stuff. That's really where conservatives are more active too.

    Dorothy aka Dot from season 5 of fargo was fantastic imo!

    Ellen (and I guess some would argue Jo) from supernatural is imo. WIthout going into spoilers but the reason I pick her out of a series full of "badass women" is she is the typical tough lady superficial stuff but also extremely compassionate, a supportive and devoted mother.

    Does Leslie Knope parks and rec count? She's a badass to me.

    In effect, Air Canada suggests the chatbot is a separate legal entity that is responsible for its own actions

    This is some corporations are people bs they are trying to get away with. This wasn't about greed over a couple hundred bucks, it's about precedent and boy were they trying to set a harmful one for the consumer in ANY industry that utilizes AI with customer support, perhaps other applications as well.

    I'm the weirdo who always reads the privacy policy at the bare minimum. I've opted out of a lot of services/apps/games/sites because of their privacy policy over the years.

    Look it is bullshit they can get away with this crap but right now we only have the existing outdated legislation to work with. The absolute explosion of how technology and social media impacts the world has changed RAPIDLY in the last 15 years. It was once quaint that Obama did reddit AMA or posted a tweet.

    So my point is yes be mad but ultimately it is out responsibility to be proactive with the tools that we have, and that's privacy policies and ToS. Like you're skipping through the villain's monologe laying out every step of their evil plan then shocked at the consequences.
