A large portion of most rich peoples investment portfolios is commercial real estate.

So if remote work takes off then offices devalue and their invest profiles diminish. That's why all the big business have colluded to force RTO, even if it would ostensibly cost their business more to do so. The execs personal savings are more important.

Plenty of people have just ordinary, totally safe experiences with bears in their normal lives.

I can, with 10,000,000,000% certainty tell you that way more people have vastly more ordinary, totally safe experiences with random men in their normal lives than with bears.

Mostly attention issues. She had her big hit, was very famous then that started to fade so tried a dozen different things to stay in the lienlight from bad sequels to bad prequels to publishing bad stories under a fake name, but none if it got her enough attention. So she did what basically every other washed up celebrity does and just be controversial to get attention.

And also I think part of it is that rich, steisght white women, are very privileged but being a woman gives them 1 point in the oppression Olympics so they think their opinions on these issues matters more. Which is why almost all the most outspoken term are middle class strisght white women.

From everything ive heard, it seems her parents were super supportive and understanding, from driving her hours away so she could get lessons/coaching, to moving across the country so she could start her career.

Honestly windows phone was sabotaged by both 3rd party developers who refused to port their apps to the platform, despite how easy it became AND did things like kill their own APIs to stop other developers from developing ports themselves, as well as by Google by not allowing their services on the platform.

The hardware was honestly top notch, even compared to my current S21 ultra. They were fairly pro consumer, having removable batteries, SD card slots and a 3.5mm jack right up until the end, even after the other big manufacturers removed them. And after the major update (the WP 8.1 update iirc) the software was really nice, intutive and pretty. I miss arranging and resising tiles, I miss having my pictures or album artworks showing up on the homescreen and I still use the Microsoft launcher on android to get the app drawer like I had on my WP.

Remember Biden isn't actually the one doing the genocide. That's Netanyahu and the other Israeli politicians. Let's not delete their blame by including Biden who has been putting in /some/ effort to stop it (not enough imo, but undeniably some). And remember that even if he stopped weapons shipments the day of the invasion, it wouldn't have changed the outcome at all.

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're not a troll.

Times where that happens are exclusively when the previous systems have been overthrown by revolution leaving a power vacuum that bad faith actors have taken advantage of to assume dictatorial power for themselves and claim they are communist, make awful decisions not backed by experts or agreed upon by the masses, that leads to mass death, usually by famine.

We also have examples of countries democratically going socialist, but can't comment on their long term success as they usually get disposed by American backed death gangs or CIA organised Coups.

I really don't mean this in a dismissive way, but it'd be better if you just read a book on communist theory. Because I cab give you a summery of 1 of the possible solutions but without further context it will just generate more questions.

But if you don't want that summary: people that work less desirable jobs get more benefits like early retirement or priority for certain luxury goods or something like that, but would ultimately have to be decided on by the community at large.
