Depends on the wasp, "wasp" includes so many species you might as well say "mammals aren't good they're useless and ontologically evil and deserve nothing but death" except there's like 20x more species of wasp. Only a few wasp species sting, and those can go fuck themselves, but the rest are pretty cool pollinators or parasites of other insects (some of those insects harmful to humans, even). There's a species of wasp that's so small it's 186 μm long on average (smaller than many amoebae), a few of them fit into and parasitize insect eggs, and during development remove the nuclei from their neurons so their brains can fit. They're pretty cool tbh.

That probably won't work by default because ulimit sets maximum processes per user, but I haven't tried it recently, or with emacs.

I do believe you have to have serious mental health issues to remain a billionaire, and I do pity them; in a perfect world the possibility of such wealth disparity wouldn't exist, and those with those tendencies would get the help they need without being surrounded by yes-men hoping for a sliver of wealth. They are probably incredibly emotionally isolated and lonely, and the pain they cause through hoarding is inexcusable and it would be better for everyone if that wealth was redistributed, including themselves.

You're thinking of CO, increased CO2 in the blood (which when dissolved becomes CO3+) causes increased anxiety and too much triggers suffocation panic. That's why you can breathe in basically any other gas and just shut down calmly, but CO2 will have you scrambling.

The only other fast way to fight it is with violence, but without clear national unity and already decent leadership it usually results in some form of autocracy, making the situation worse.

Edit: violent revolution* usually doesn't work, but violence itself can be rather effective

Unlikely as it might be, maybe the 10% error rate is from gender queer people that haven't realized/faced it yet.

Grey goo also doesn't work because it'd almost certainly use the same building blocks as life, and in a competition with life, life's probably going to be the winner. Even if it didn't, unless it's doing weird cold fusion subatomic interactions (probably impossible) to make more of whatever element it's composed of, it'll just run out of food in whatever local environment it's in.

I just don't understand why these little details are a big deal. If people want things and it doesn't hurt anybody then let them have it, who cares? If you want to label yourself trans because it communicates that you'd rather be something other than the gender assigned at birth, sounds good to me. The subsets of that are mostly details that explain how you're trans to someone curious. Why does it need to be more complicated than that?

I mean if it's abandonware it's ethical to reverse engineer and open source the reverse engineered platform, maybe even fork it and provide some sort of extensible framework for various plugins, or convert the kernel to a new architecture or even virtualize it. Hopefully we can also work out the bugs and the more glaring issues soon (looking at you, upright vertebrae).

Jazz has the same etymology, comes from jasm (meaning the same as jism, i.e. semen). At the time it also meant spirit/energy; spunk, or spunky, also had this dual meaning.
