If size is what matters, then whales, elephants, and dolphins all have more complex brains than humans.

Yes, but if she's a baby nobody knows she's a girl yet, including her.

@samus12345@lemmy.world avatar

Why? A trans person isn't born cis, they're born, as you said, not even knowing what gender is. A trans woman was always a girl, but only someone who knows the future would know that when she's a baby.

No, it's because of how poorly obscured it is in the 5th one from the top in particular - there's no other numbers it could be.

That's a lot of immaculately conceived Jesus snakes!

The homeless are certainly ignored, but beggars aren't. Otherwise they wouldn't do it.

Yeah, I think this is what the author was going for.

If I were the Godpigeon

Cooey-cooey-cooey fettuccine cream sauce parmesan

All the time I'd 'ehhh ehhh ehhh'

In Jon's defense, HE doesn't appear to have aged, so why would he expect Garfield to?

Is there a dog skeleton around somewhere as well?

samus12345 ,
@samus12345@lemmy.world avatar

It literally isn't. Jim Davis created it specifically to be predictable and safe, appealing to as wide an audience as possible. I don't fault him for it - it was a very successful tactic, and I liked it as a kid. But creative or groundbreaking art it ain't.

That said, it did spawn Garfield: His 9 Lives, which was anything but predicable and safe.

Lemmy is littered with dead communities that were copied over from reddit a year ago or so.

Yeah, I noticed it didn't have a place to put headrests, so it was more of a "if this car had been designed with headrests" sorta thing.

samus12345 ,
@samus12345@lemmy.world avatar

My understanding is that it originates with the head (same with Deadpool). So if you cut off his head, a new body would regenerate from it and the old body just decays normally. Which still raises the question, what if you cut off his head and then cut the head in half?...

It must suck to have eyes so large that your lower eyelids can't cover them.

True, but nothing in the comic says otherwise.

"Wipe them out. All of them."

"Yeah alright, look, what I'm saying is we're trying, but it's not really that easy. The Jedi are scattered all across the galaxy and they have that weird force magic to boot, no offense..."

The ellipsis makes all the difference.

Tesla is recalling its Cybertruck for the fourth time to fix problems with trim pieces that can come loose and front windshield wipers that can fail | The new recalls each affect over 11,000 trucks (apnews.com)

The company says in the documents that the front windshield wiper motor controller can stop working because it’s getting too much electrical current. A wiper that fails can cut visibility, increasing the risk of a crash. The Austin, Texas, company says it knows of no crashes or injuries caused by the problem....

I've seen a few around, and I always think "It's the N64 truck!"

Did the comic originally end after the cheering, or did the image in the OP just cut it out for some reason?
