Imagine posting such a meme (and claiming you support anarchism) but being (or acting) completely ignorant of the paradox of tolerance..

The reason we don't have human rights for all is because of people with a vested interest in oppressing others and the systems they maintain, and most will never willingly just give up their power (yes, including the power to be one up from the bottom but being able to punch down at another marginalised group, eg immigrants).

Which is why there is zero room to tolerate bigotry and oppression, nor those who, given a chance to be better, still refuse.

I am the farthest thing from a Stalinist, and I am not in support of death squads.

What I am in support of, as I mentioned in my comment, and knew you would ignore (I went back and highlighted it for you), is giving them plenty of opportunity to stop being bigots (they get them every single day). But when they continue to refuse - meaning they are actively threatening the lives of marginalised people, I am no longer obligated to care for their safety nor tolerate their behaviours, which they openly declare they are willing to kill and die to preserve.

The fact that you and others here are more concerned for the hypothetical safety of the bigot in this thread than you are for the actual safety of the people they are an active and very real threat to, says it all really. You only support self defence on your terms, but you're not the one being threatened, so that's not how it works.

    The meme doesn't stigmatize mental illness because it's not talking about mental illness.

    If anything, pathologizing the predictable and inescapable results of living under oppressive systems designed to keep you as down and alienated as possible as a mental illness, instead of a perfectly valid reaction to living in dystopia deeply and negatively impacts how we treat actual mental illness.

    The idea that pointing out that we have societal problems pills can't solve is somehow stigmatising actual mental illness (which pills can help) just goes to show how deeply indoctrinated society is in to toxic individualism.

    Skills are transferable, though there definitely are many cases where people aren't able to access the tools and education they might need to make the most of their talents because of lack of privilege and systemic oppression (which basically means facing more obstacles to gain access to the same tools and education as the most privileged get handed to them).

    So when you were born definitely matters, but so does where, to who, what gender you were assigned at birth, how abled or disabled you are, and so on and so on..

    They didn't just create the borders, but also actively pitted the different local groups in each region, all over the globe, against each other to keep them from joining forces against the colonisers and imperialists, so very deliberate war mongering.

    Similar tactics are used today in the form of "culture wars" and institutional and systemic bigotry - we (the working class, the majority of the population) are divided and pitted against each other by those who want to keep us from joining forces and turning on them.

    That's a ridiculous strawman to build, not donating via a corporation to a corporation (which the big non profits that these campaigns tend to raise funds for operate like) absolutely doesn't equal not donating anywhere else, if anything, people who are that aware of what a scam corporate charity is are significantly more likely to be donating and volunteering locally and directly, You're also leaving out that these corporations aren't just faceless and heartless, but are active contributors to maintaining the status quo and the systems that create the conditions where these charities are needed in the first place. Making any excuse for them being a middleman - for their benefit because if it wasn't they wouldn't do it, is completely missing the big picture.

    how's that been working out? (hint: it isn't, because capitalism cannot be reformed, by design. And the point of eat the rich isn't to just keep killing them, it's to give them the option to end their exploitative system and give up their power for the benefit of society at large, and when they refuse, because they will, make that decision for them. Once the system is abolished any "heirs", and former rich people who realise they'd rather live as equals to others than die filthy rich, will have no power to take the "top" position again, because there will be no top position, nor will they have any resources to try with).

    Nowhere did I say the company shouldn’t make a profit. It’s only natural that companies would have significant expenses around material, jobs, offices, and all that stuff, and that’s fine

    You've been spot on with your replies to this bootlicker so far, but none of the things you mentioned here come under "profits", those are expenses.

    It is the money that companies make after expenses that is the profit, and they are mostly able to make so much of it because they don't pay their employees fairly for their labour, nor for any other value they produce for the owners of company, who do very little to no work, and are absolutely not entitled to the fruits of other peoples' labour, no matter how tasty their boot might be.

    They also maintain a system that means that employees don't have the free choice capitalists love to wave around - if they don't participate in this exploitative bullshit, they become homeless and starve, because our human rights, like our labour, have also been commodified so that a couple of thousand people can hoard all of the money and power that comes with it.

    Oh, ecofascism is very real. Society in general has a massive ableist bias, and the media play a huge part in promoting that. Disabled people and those with long term conditions are often framed as basically disposable. It's everywhere, but it really feeds well in to the often white supremacist and otherwise privileged liberal "eco worrier" movement, but also right wingers who hide their genocidal intentions under a guise of concern for the environment, and even some anarcho-primitivists who insist we "go back to monke" without any regard for the lives of those who depend on technology and modern medicine. The more you look, the more of it you'll see.

    I'm disabled myself, in the UK, where the government has already openly set its sites on killing disabled people (tens of thousands already dead in the past 13 years or so due to a deliberately nightmarish claiming system alone, never mind the defunding of our health and social care systems and the innumerable deaths that has lead to), and I can tell you that sadly your fears are well founded.

    If you can, find leftist disability activists near you, and see if there is anything you can do to help (it can be anything from donating and spreading info online, to being present at demos and taking other direct action).

    They aren't just going to leave us alone.
