I absolutely do NOT follow politics, but am addicted to reddit & Lemmy in my downtime when I'm not doing yoga or massaging people or sleeping and it's pretty impossible to avoid getting hit in the head with posts mentioning political figures every time we leisurely browse Lemmy.

Anyway it seems plenty of people are confused about what the holidays are for. memorial Day is about remembering people who have died, particularly the people who died in line of combat in the military.

Veterans Day is the day we're supposed to thank a veteran.

Labor Day, I still don't know what that one's about, something about honoring everyone who has to work all the time? Labor?. So we get a day off. I guess.

I've heard that the price of McDonald's food has doubled and people are definitely not saying "hey you get what you pay for" when it comes to McDonald's price increase and they're definitely not buying MORE of it.

It's a spinal pelvic muscular misalignment issue. Surely there are also heterosexual masculine men with lordosis.

As a side note, I'm a woman with lordosis and, with advanced age, it becomes increasingly painful & difficult to correct.

well this is a delicate area because people have the right to be attracted to whoever they want to be. It's not racism to not be sexually attracted to a certain race. Just because a woman is a prostitute doesn't mean that she is required to say yes to every man.

If you can't see that these two different types of labor are apples and oranges, then I don't know what else to tell you. If a prostitute is forced to service anyone they DO NOT WANT TO, then it becomes sex trafficking, which is exactly the conundrum we're trying to solve here.
