I was a casualty of this mid-career. Made redundant in the middle of the covid pandemic. I managed to scrape things together and called a few contacts who helped me out and put in a good word for me. Helped me secure employment. I'm in a better environment now than I was back then. But it was a terrifying experience being made redundant at a snap of a finger.

In the sense of this meme it's actually true. An airforce recruiter comes to you with the opportunity to be a fighter pilot you take the offer first. You clear medical, they send you to basic, then flight school, then you learn to be a fighter pilot. At no point before they sign you up do they have any requirements of needing to know how to fly.

This has got to be the most naive statement on crypto and laundering.
Crypto are so easily laundered not because of traceability but because of the huge and rapid swings in value, Unexpected wealth is easily justified.
Large sums are easily laundered by scripting thousands of transactions.

Its not difficult to engineer a bit of safety into a cape. The clasps holding the cape around your neck/on your body can be designed to have a low breakaway strength to prevent strangulation(150N is a typical force). This is a feature designed into most safety helmets. Its secure enough to never fall off unintentionally, but weak enough that it removes the risk of strangulation.

No. Its one of those stupid motivational posters that doesn't make sense.

If he wanted to work smart sphere guy could have simply made a cylinder. It would have taken him less time to carve and transportation would have been just as easy, if not easier than the sphere because the ground pressure is spread over a larger surface area.

He's also lost about 48% of the original product.
If he had made a cylinder, he'd only have lost 21% of the original product.

If it doesn't matter how much got delivered, then just trim a corner off and deliver that. He could have put it in his pocket and simply walked over.

Seems to be a washing machine. 1600RPM spin dry.

The problem occurs because there are 2 conditions that need to be fulfilled.

  1. Its programmed to spin at set RPM for 6 mins.

  2. Before it can initiate a full speed spin it needs to ensure the drum is balanced. If its off balanced it will damage the spin motor and other parts of the machine in short order. (reference old machines that sound like an earthquake during spin cycles). It will keep attempting to adjust the clothes by start-stopping so clothes can fall in place. Only when the vibrations are down to acceptable levels will the machine initiate a full speed spin dry. Machine will stay stuck at set spin time until condition 2 is fulfilled.

The way to fix this is to open up the machine, untangle balled up clothes and allow the spin dry to resume.
