Honestly sometimes it gets everything right, I had others and some had all the wording correct but I liked that one.

I saw it before the news...but not sure how much viral it went.

But they look normal? People keep saying that, but except the weird position which it's a picture which it could have caught you in a weird position and that's it.
Like we only see 4 finger on one hand but the thumb could be bended and not visible from the angle.

If you zoom yeah...one finger seems to end up converting to burger but that requires quite a deep look.

But maybe I am missing something.

I can say that personally here in Spain, of course it's a completely different place, the overnight 1 day shipping still works. Just saying that the enshittification is not global at least on shipping. Of course all depends where you are located and each product if they are prime or not, which hour you order it, etc... But the day they say is the day your receive it except some very very rare exceptions when there is a delay.

Of course that's just my experience in my town...

Yeah... It's the slur filter, now days it can be enabled or not by the instance but in past it was hard coded.
Unfortunately I don't think there is individual user setting to disable it for themselves.

Let's be honest RSS wouldn't live anyway...
Like the only pages that would provide it would be the ones that don't have or have barely any ad and that's a minority that let's be honest doesn't stop them from providing it now.

The rest of pages would either not do it, do a very basic thing with only the title and small description so you have to click it to see the article or just find a way to add ads and tracking to it. Because they want/need you to watch ads, sell your data with tracking and all that.

I prefer water than other terrible stuff inside it.... Specially if it reduces the possibility of a fire. Water damages just that device... fire can burn the whole building if not detected early.

    I love that I somehow I automatically read it as "you can drop" and not "you can't drop".

    Oh yes it is true, there is a video of it.
    And yeah it's like that, it requires som attention from the driver but people bypass security stuff they have or simply do the bare minimum so the auto driving continues.
    At the end they break the law regardless but it allows them this crazy stuff.

    The only exceptions are some cars that's re completely driverless and act as taxis, I think Waymo and google has them as those are allowed to have blind people or people without a license and people usually are on back seats or similar.

    I mean... I know that your are implying using trains... But trains don't work on all situations, and something like you say that is a middle ground but that doesn't depend on rails which is basically the limitating factor in some cases due the height differences or other related issues wouldn't be that bad.

    I got all the rest and I see your issue with wanting to sync only individual files.
    But I didn't quite get what you mean with this: "...that the user can’t enter".
    You can enter and copy/move/edit files... I cannot understand what you meant with that.

    Regarding the sync thing, I am not as annoyed by it as much as you seem, and my use case probably was different, but in case it helps somebody what I opted to was to use it as a disk and use tools that work with disks, so in my case although other tools could be used I use FreeFileSync to copy files from the Drive to a local drive and viceversa. Mostly for backup purposes.

    I would be tempted to say in some cases it is even better as in the past you needed to to use their APIs or use their tool to setup those specific sync options and now I can use any tool that works with copying/using normal files.

    That said... for other environments like a server or similar, then you are back to RClone and API auths or similar to do actions on your drive.

    You have to keep it all downloaded and synced or none.

    This is me just nitpicking, but you can flag folders/files to be available offline and it will keep a local copy always, but it will be in their drive thingy. So you can access it even when offline but it's not copied outside their virtual disk. It's just a right click menu option.

    I agree that they shouldn't say that,it wasn't announced.
    But your wording you make it sound like that would be impossible like they would have announced it already, maybe is just me making up things on my mind sorry if that was not your intention.

    We are on just February.... like you don't have to announce it on Jan 1, if it releases around Q4 for example.

    I am curious if even just a minimal part of it has anything to do with MigSwitch.

    If the MigSwitch is really emulating a physical cartridge perfectly and the Switch can't detect it... it can be an issue for a new one, either because they use the same cartridges/security for the new games, as let's be honest I don't see why Nintendo would need a new physical cartridge for this revision, at best a tab like in the 3Ds to not allow them on the old Switch.

    And even if it does not affect the new games, the retrocompatible games could be affected and be playable by it.

    So some changes could be required physically or by software.

    If you're releasing a console in a specific year, the announcement to publishers and vendors has to happen the year before.

    Why? In any case when you say publisher and vendors you mean a close doors thing? Or a public one which is basically the announcement for everybody? Because if it was a private thing...it could have happened no? I don't think the previous Switch was leaked with something like that so earlier....but maybe I misremember.

    In any case for the rest the timing could have been fine, the Switch for example was announced to the general public barely 5 months before release, October 2016 and released March 2017.

    Like the new one could have been announced in the next months and release after the summer for example without much issue.

    Well if we were to believe the rumors some developers already had dev kits of it. And that also Nintendo might have done demos to them.
    Of course nothing is confirmed so take it as you wish.

    The point is doesn't matter what is visible, they could be storing all the comments edit history and simply not show it.

    That only helps for a third party without access to reddit data , which they could have if reddit sells it to them, from scraping the page, yes in that case your comments cannot be used.

    But there are other situations that manually saving wouldn't be solved and auto saving does.

    Like it's easier to lose data if something happens before you manually save it. With auto saving that's more difficult as it is auto saving every x time or x changes. Yeah you could do that manually... every x minutes/work but it's something that clearly should be automated.

    The main issue here was assuming something has a feature and that it has it enabled without checking if it does.

    Well...I mean...that was mainly because of the lack of stock... well and scalpers didn't help.

    Like there was giveaways to get the opportunity to buy them... yeah sure they sold plenty but some people had to wait a long time to be able to get one and it wasn't because people went crazy buying them alone.

    But yes it sold well with that I agree. That said nobody said it didn't sell well here so not sure where your comments comes from.

    To me it means what it says... They had some expectations and they didn't reach it.

    At the end I guess is open to interpretation, but expectations sometimes are out of reality... some times they go higher either to sell it to inversors or they simply over estimate...

    I wouldn't go as far as reading as them saying it didn't sell well, more like they expected more....

    But Ok I admit it could be considered as such...
