Considering the extreme risk involved despite the low odds, I would not.
It is tempting and the odds of hitting that 1% on the first press are low, so the chance of a payoff is very good, but on the other hand, you won't get any money if you hit that 1% first try, so even leaving money for loved ones is out of the question there.

Silicon isn't a conductor, it's a semiconductor. Also conductivity is dependent on temperature, hot stuff usually conducts easier, though some things conduct easier when they are colder. Even at the low voltage it's more complicated than "Conductors" and "Insulators" we learn in those ultra basic electronics guides online (or in school if you're lucky).

The server I play on has Mobgriefing disabled and has had it disabled for many years since people would use creepers to blow holes in people's walls and floors on purpose. Also ghasts were blowing up parts of the nether hub and gold farm (made of glass).

They also disabled fire spreading because people were destroying stuff with it both intentionally and unintentionally.

The issue is the server doesn't use plugins since they had lots of issues after each update while using plugins and the maintainers decided it wasn't worth it to maintain that. So as is it only has a script to minitor chat for commandts like :home :spawn :warp etc. and is otherwise completely vanilla.

There are some downsides like that villagers don't breed but they also do give out spawn eggs and occasionally spawners, so it's still reasonably easy to renew villagers. Big downside is that farmers can't replant crops, so all crop farms are manual.

I don't own any flags myself, I only own pins. If I did own flags though I would iron them so they look nice.

I don't really plan on getting them though unless I can find at least an AroAce flag in the purple and green color scheme. Which I haven't up until now, technically I couldn't find a pin either but pins are easy to get custom made, flags not so much (at least I never looked into it).

Also if you do, you should really consider submitting Spotpass dumps to the Spotpass archival project as it seems that the Spotpass servers weren't shut down yet. Every little bit helps.

This also does help @pretendo with the revival of the online services as network dumps help them more accurately rebuild the services for individual games.

I feel like I read it uses ad-hoc capabilities not unlike what's used on Switch nowadays. Ad-hoc networking isn't used that much though outside of that for some reason.

I find reporting trolls and bad faith actors to be far more constructive and also productive then pretending that they don't exist.

If the de facto response is to block these trolls instead of reporting them then there's no way that the situation can get better. Lemmy isn't a free speech platform like Nostr moderation is important and one big part of moderation is reporting trolls and bad faith actors, essentially calling them out to the moderators.

So do your part and report the trolls and psychos and if you don't want to follow up later then block them, but it's important to file a report first.

The guy who runs the growyourownservices network despite seeming very professional is extremely emotionally biased and hates Lemmy as a software (and seemingly any instances that will choose to run that software, regardless of their affiliation towards the developers).

So he basically refuses to acknowledge the existence of Lemmy and by extension a large portion of the threaded fediverse, and when he does acknowledge it he's talking shit about it.

Hopefully fediverse admins are sensible enough to ban users who are blatantly posting advertisements. I know that a lot are, but I also know that a few of the bigger servers tend to turn a blind eye to that kind of thing.

I think the fundamental problem here is that we're trying to point fingers at each other or situations instead of acknowledging that it's not feasible to keep doing this in their domain no matter how much we try to make them happy. Instead of just going "oh we should've kept it secret" or "those users shouldn't have done that" or "it was the NFTs!!1!!1!" and thinking that there was a way we could've gotten away with it, we should be encouraging doing this stuff in places where it's harder if not impossible for them to win.
Do what the crackers already did to become successful and free, and not pretend that there's a way to get away with it in the western country that kisses up to companies.

Also doesn't have very good touch support, forget wayland vs x11, the interface of KDE just isn't suited for touch screens, using it on the Steam Deck is incredibly frustrating because the interface is so small and requires scrolling more often than not.
