I'm at nearly 1500 days. I'm not really dedicated to it anymore and usually just do a single lesson a day, but I keep doing it so that I don't forget I want to learn French.

Someday I'll actually enroll in a French class so that family reunions wouldn't be so awkward...

Try setting scaling back to 1x but then set font scaling to 1.25 using Gnome Tweaks. I'm running two 4k monitors this way and it's as good as true scaling with no blur

Reddit really went downhill fast after ~2015. I think Lemmy will get there eventually. I remember reddit being a lot smaller back then as well. It took a while to get to the point where niche communities could thrive and I do believe we'll see that happen here as well (even if it takes a decade or so)

What's a good piece of hardware to run a jellyfin server?

I'm wanting to set up my external Seagate drive with all my media on it to run a jellyfin server but I'm not sure which device to use. I'm thinking a raspberry pi but I'm not sure which one. From what I can tell from running the server on my laptop it is fairly CPU intensive for lower end systems...

Any more recent Intel CPU with quicksync works well too. I have a $100 CAD i3 powering Jellyfin and it's able to handle ~5 1080p streams going at a time without any issues.

I want to get started with *arr apps - here are all the things I don't understand about (reverse-/)proxies and networking in order to get it set up.
