On my mobile I use a pixel 4, I tried Graphene OS but my banking failed so back to stock Android

Here in Australia I just use a physical card for tap and go for payments etc or use cash. No need for Google Pay or bank payments app. Can log in via my bank via a web browser to move cash about or check spending.

I think you demonstrated the entire point, people prefer invasive convenience over privacy., along with flimsy justification. Not having a go, it's exactly what most people say when I query them about privacy, "It's so much eaaier and how I manage" etc etc.

Then we have your FB messenger thing. Dead lord, stop that. If they don't want to chat to me on Signal, they're obviously not my friend.

Drones trespassing in my property

Idk if anyone had a similar problem before, but I live in EU by the countryside, at first there were only a few but now it happens more and more often to see drones passing over my house, I am sure they are civilian drones because law enforcement has no reason to use them since the area is quiet (and honestly I doubt they would...

    I don't believe you. What you're describing in regards the weather is most of Australia and it's even more car dependent then the US. If you were there, you'd drive.

    It's snow bound northern Euro countries that are way more advanced in being car free then sunny warm countries. Have you seen Manila? Jakarta ?

    Why didnt they barricade the car lane off and use that to install the bike barrier lane protectors from ? Use stop / go personell so cars can use the other lane.

    They've blocked the entire cycle lane with what looks like a compressor up ahead as well (presumably to supply a pneumatic drill for the bolts)

    Or here's an idea, install concrete barricades from the back of a truck with a crane that actually project cyclists from being murdered.

    A perfectly private social media service could be constructed but it likely won't because there is no profit motive.

    While that seem ostensibly sensible it isn't really useful, you can't transition away from just large cars, you still won't have the carless infrastructure in place anyway.

    As to vegan, i find the entire thing worrisome, conflating say a poor Cambodian who eats a little chicken with his noddles with a vegan American is ridiculous. The americans refrigerator alone is more destructive then his chicken, veg and noodle dinner. The entire idea is to look holistically. If yoire a vegan with a large dog, for example, you're going to eat more meat then I do with my little permeculture set up and the poultry I raise and eat.

    Why is Session always mentioned ? It's an Australian company, in a land with zero constitutional oversight I'd be more inclined to think its a honeypot then a privavy focused chat app. Anom springs to mind as an example.

    There's already "congestion pricing", its paid for in time.

    All this does is allow the weathy easier access.. More cycle ways that take away car parking and better, very cheap PT are actual solutions.

    Or how do elders deal with what other citizens would take for granted in terms of mobility?

    Currently they alll use little electric mobility scooters, in cycle lanes when available, bacause its too dangerous to be any where there are cars here in Australia.

    How do those with epilepsy get around, they can't drive at least they can't here in Australia. One lady with epilepsy I knew rode a little electric scoot, she loved having her independence.

    What happens to people when they loose thier license in the US ?

    The US is fine with kids being shot in schools (by that I mean thy don't do anything abiut it), I doubt they give a shit about car deaths. Hell, 50 infants are reversed over each week.
