Everything is crab!, embrace Carcinisation! Become one with the crab!

A check has the same information as a basic account. Any sane company is probably storing it in the same backend too.

saigot ,

Yeah, doing something similar with brackets would be much more effective since that usually doesn't give a line number. Is there a unicode clone of )?

I want to know why Trinidad, indonesia, Uruguay and Chile have 🤣 where as most of the world does 😂

saigot ,

Genz won't be a majority for another couple decades. Millennials and older don't use it as much.

Y&eah I really enjoyed the game and thought it had a lot of room to be expanded witha sequel. it really left me wanting more which is pretty rare.

saigot ,

The use of Lady/Male is kinda off putting

Bonnets cover the engine, evs don't have engines, and their motors and other important components aren't always centrally located nor do they need much regular maintenance so the front is sometimes made into a storage compartment, the frunk.

saigot ,

Well apparently it's programmed to bypass the safety system after 3 attempts under the assumption that the user knows best.

This seems like a really dumb choice, but I can see why an engineer would want to point out that it's not incompetent engineering but an incompetent business department.

When I was in college I had a Playlist that Pavloved me into a state of calm, focus and short term memory retention. I played it before every exam and it helped a lot. I would play that Playlist.

It will be interesting to see if tiktoks newest big selling point (relatively free from US influence) will be able to offset it's loss in users.

The Obama AMA was in 2012, That to me is the turning point for reddit, it's when it's population exploded overnight (which meant old users could no longer enforce cultural norms for the platform), it's when news media really started taking the platform seriously and I think when a lot of the political influence of reddit was realized.

I am embarrassed at many of these comments I had to read before realizing this wasn't about ice skating.

saigot ,

Yes but they also test the blood and will call you if they have reason to believe you are positive.

Limestone is super basic so I would pair with something acidic, I think white wines in general are more acidic so imma agree with op.

saigot ,

Wait why are we mad at Calvi and Hobbs?

saigot ,

But why do we want to make memes making fun of Calvin if they didn't do anything wrong?

saigot ,

They killed the vertical task bar with that update, which seems like such a pointless thing to disable.

I have and use those headphones, they are great. But there are some awesome open back headphones which I think a lot of people would enjoy, both from a sound and a comfort point of view.

For instance, I use sennheiser hs560s for my pc, the wired version costs as much as the bluetooth m50x (although hd560s benefit from a dac which adds cost). they have much better directionality than the m50x, which helps a lot in gaming. the more open sound stage is nice and you can wear them for much longer without getting sweaty. The mx50s are also way more bassy which is subjective if good or bad.

The m50x are great, but they are really just the tip of the iceberg.

If I commission a piece of art, and they refuse to deliver what is my recourse?

If an honest artist is issuing a refund, and adds an extra 0 what is their recourse?

    Brute force protection

    @memes

    saigot ,

Dictionary attacks have been around for a long time, but It's still quite strong especially if you throw in a number.

A fully random 8 character password has about 10^14 brute force combinations (assuming upper and lower case + the normal special characters). 4 words choosen at random from the top 3000 words (which is a very small vocabulary really) is 10^13 dictionary attack combinations, add a single number or account for variations in word style (I.e maybe don't always use camel case) and you've matched the difficulty. If you use 5 words it's 10^17 combinations.

A password manager and a hard password is a better idea but there are cases where you can't use a password manager (like the password to said manager).

Image: 4 panels organized in a rectangle following a sequential order like a comic strip. The first panel is of a man with a very serious face stating, "Hey man, got any diphenhydramine?" The second panel is a grainy picture of the actor Robert Downey Jr. with a slightly inquisitive face and saying, "What's that?" The third...

If you don't use the "review checker" feature, which I didn't know existed until now, you will be unaffected by this change.

    saigot ,

A quick search on Google scholar for "extravert" and "extrovert" both yield results with hundreds of citations so I think both are clearly acceptable.

    saigot ,

Wouldn't they be 56? 1800 and 1900 are not leap years.

    saigot ,

A typical wall outlet can only draw 1800w (1.8kw) no way is it drawing 40kwh (kw/h is a nonsense unit in this context). If it's drawing 40wh ghats actually quite low, a typical monitor is closer to 80-100w while powered on.

Where I live electricity is about 10c/kwh (cheap I know) so a 100w monitor is costing me about a cent an hour. More than worth it imo but you make your own decisions.

I know people hate on rgb lights but I really like mine. I have them set to red light at sundown, which is great when you want to get up for a glass of water/midnight snack/bathroom break without ruining your night vision and waking yourself up. It made a really big improvement to my sleep.

    saigot ,

Yeah you have to be careful what you get, a lot of the cheaper ones are way way dimmer in colour mode than white mode.

    saigot ,

Just out of curiosity, how does that work for foreigners, they would only be able to tell the income of citizens would they not?

    saigot ,

If all your code isn't on one line you aren't a real programmer.

    But abortion affects literally everyone.

Outside of incel memes when is the Chad ever the good guy?

    saigot ,

Nah you still have to deal with all the increased crime.

Idk this seems pretty good for like a reception or something.

    saigot ,

It's not just colour it's colour within what the algorithm already thinks is nice. If you only watch 4hour fish tank videos you'll only get 4 hour fish tank videos, just with purple fish. It's not like you have to just play this live either. Just generate the videos and add each non offensive one to a Playlist to run at the office. Sure it's not like a killer feature, I also doubt it took much effort at all to create.

Yeah but from the perspective of a government paying for your citizens education reduces crime, increases revenue and helps your country stay on top from a technology point of view. It's a pretty safe investment that pays for itself. I graduated 5 years ago, university and college isnt free where i am but is subsidized (and also access to low interest gov't loans) I have already paid in taxes more than my education cost the government. If I work for another 20yrs that's easily a 4x on the initial investment.

I mean thats happening too. There's an animated series about the avatar after Korea coming in 2025. There's also an animated movie following the aang as an adult coming out around the same time
