You mentioned a corporation and for whatever reason that brings rage to a lot of people on here. It’s FOSS, donation only, or gtfo. If you develop anything and expect to be paid you are the devil even if you’re a lonely sole developer.

Last one of these I had the guy was driving away and took the photo.

Walmart seems to ONLY have a “technical issue” when it comes to requesting a refund. All other areas of the website work perfectly fine! (lemmy.ca)

Any time saved by ordering online and picking up the order has vanished chasing customer support people to fix something that would have taken a few seconds through their website.

The reports get wild when a single user posts multiple content in a row. It floods your All feed and can be quite annoying. What is the point of old content we’ve probably seen already? Instead of them wrapping their head around the users point of view, they’re just throwing a fit.

Cloud Hosted VMs

Not sure if cloud hosted VMs count as selfhosted for the purposes of this community, but I run a lot of services at the house and want to have a few services that require high availability run in a cloud external to my home. Specifically, I want to run Vaultwarden, an email server and a VPN. My question is one of...

Plex with Plexamp works really well. Downloading you’ll have to figure out your source for that. There’s many. Ripping straight from Deezer was best when I was doing it. (Deemix when I was going this route).

    Which ones are you needing? For Adblock I block using VPN, similar to setting up a pihole. I’ve found replacements for most of what I do use elsewhere. Some working even better then the desktop counterparts.

    When I left android, I was jailbreaking on iOS, so generally had all of those features, but funny enough probably about right when you left extensions, VPN ad blockers, etc. came out. Officially and polished.

    Blocking is far better on the VPN routing level then bothering with a browser extension.

    I use a combo as I like the blocks happening within apps as well.
