Daft_ish ,

I refuse to believe you are a real person. Maybe a masterful troll. This statement is bottom of the barrel levels dumb.

Daft_ish , (edited )

Most of the car subscription items don’t bother me. Many are like cosmetic skins in game.

I am not wasting my time other than to argue over this position. Anything else take up with anyone else, not me specifically. What I've quoted is a stupid position that relys for us consumers to overly rely on the car manufacturers. If tesla wants to strictly lease cars that is their right but if you are selling me a car as a service be explict. If you are selling me a car you are selling me a car with complete functioning features. I cannot depend on a company to last forever. When it tanks and my car bricks, that is unacceptable risk for buyers. Do not capitulate to the auto manufacturers. Its a brain dead mistake and no amount of corporate cup and ball games will make me change my mind.

Why the fuck should we ever have to ask a judge this? Hey judge why don't you tell us how we cure cancer? Judge, judge, what is dark matter? Please, you are the ultimate authority on all things!

Daft_ish ,

I know why the courts would ask but in general this is something a single judge has no authority on. The idea that a single person gets to define what "life" is absurdity. We have army's of scholars following strict rules of logic, ethics, and are backed by science. Their consensus is more compatible with human society than some dusty book.

Daft_ish ,

I have to disagree. Anyone who has ever tried to be a force for change knows if you don't do it in stages it will blow up in your face. We can demand complete change but implementation should always be systematic.

Absolutely love the spirit of the comic, though. It's exactly my type of humor.

Daft_ish ,

Yeah, him and everyone other person alive.

Daft_ish ,

Called it! 100% called it!

Daft_ish ,

Likely story. Rich people don't go to prison, you think I was born yesterday?

Daft_ish , (edited )

How can we convince people now is the time to act? What more information do we need? I think most people are clinging to the idea everything is business as usual. As long as they can keep the lights on they wouldn't want to upset the stability they've managed to make for themselves.

Daft_ish , (edited )

Let's hope he doesn't Icarus the fuck out. It wasn't even close to his best season. The chiefs are doing this whole villains thing anyway. Maybe it gets them three in a row but I know if you even if you're just pretending to be a villian you start looking at yourself that way. It's just not sustainable.

Daft_ish ,

Doesn't that prove that government officials lack empathy? We see it again and again but still we keep putting these unfeeling bastards in charge.

Daft_ish , (edited )

I hope he is ready to fade away into obscurity now. Delaying the inevitable. A fox news host is only suited for one thing, suckling at the teet of Murdoch.

Daft_ish ,

Ok, maybe drug use was a bad analogy. What I meant to say was abortion....

Daft_ish ,

OR ELSE...!

You'll be happy with what you got.

Zuckerberg Brags About How Your Facebook, Instagram Posts Will Power His AI (gizmodo.com)

Instagram and Facebook have addicted users for the last 20 years, making sure to monetize us through advertisers every step of the way. Now, they’re revisiting your old posts, your special moments, and your big life updates, and using it to create billion-dollar AI tools. Zuckerberg’s braggadocious claim about Meta’s very...

Daft_ish ,

It's funny to go on Facebook and see 20 year old accounts that haven't updated their profile pic since 2009. Facebook is the corpse of a social media platform used to trade yardsale trash and post christmas cards. Your facebook AI is going to excel at posting right-wing memes and helping people find their lost pets.

As for instragram. Now introducing InfluencerGPT.

Daft_ish ,

I have verifiably never been active military or served in Nam but the first thought that came to my head was Veit Cong.

Daft_ish ,

Interesting

Daft_ish ,

I don't think actual parroting is the problem. The problem is they don't understand a word outside of how it is organized. They can't be told to do simple logic because they don't have a simple understanding of each word in their vocabulary. They can only reorganize things to varying degrees.

Daft_ish ,

I guess, I just am looking at from an end user vantage point. I'm not saying the model cant understand the words its using. I just don't think it currently understands that specific words refer to real life objects and there are laws of physics that apply to those specific objects and how they interact with each other.

Like saying there is a guy that exists and is a historical figure means that information is independently verified by physical objects that exist in the world.

    Why does this matter?

    Daft_ish , (edited )

Your game is only inclusive if you can change genders mid game???????

Fuck me if I were a game designer and had to consider every audience who might be offended by any design decision.

Insert meme "chess is ablist because it requires too much concentration."

    Daft_ish ,

Sure, it's a cool feature to have. Just like why does it matter.

I would also like to mention it is a Nintendo thing, not a pokemon thing.

    Daft_ish ,

No shit that was a bubble. Fun for all of two seconds but application in its current form is niche/sketchy at best. There is lots of promise for the future of AI but right now it just makes things more complicated and end results are unreliable.

    Daft_ish ,

I think AI is going to be ok.

    Daft_ish ,

This is silly. Billionaires are people, otherwise guillotines wouldn't be effective.

    Daft_ish ,

No, you forget about, "the good ones."

Just don't ever expect your existence to change their beliefs. Hell you could climb the ranks in the party even make it to the Supreme Court. As long as you have no problem shutting the door on people who look just like you because of the way they look.

    Daft_ish ,

Where do they add the oil to let out giant smoke clouds?

    Daft_ish ,

I will 99% of the time ignore the critic review because they miss and have missed hard sometimes.

Low critic high audience. Some good entertainment value but probably isn't much depth which is fine. Sometimes you just want a popcorn flix.

High critic high audience. Will watch and decide for myself.

    Anything else, total crapshoot.

    Daft_ish , (edited )

Can you think of a good example? Maybe a couple Netflix movies like "Don't look up"? I have cetain genres that are automatic watch for me. Suspense thriller usually falls in that category.

    Daft_ish , (edited )

Ok, can you guarantee they will someday have a college education, housing, and Healthcare?

"NO! HAVE KIDS AND A SELECT FEW WILL WIN THE GENETIC LOTTERY AND BE ACCEPTED, THE REST CAN SUFFER."

    Daft_ish ,

Since I'll never make it and I'll probably forget.

So you start in a town with a fixed number of NPC's. How ever the game style is you begin a journey and face a steep incline in difficulty as you progress. When you die you respawn as another NPC in the town. Your original character continues on the same exact path from your first run but now you have to progress in parallel with your past self. If you alter your past selfs progression you take back control of your original character. If you die you respawn as another NPC and same rules apply to all other past selves.

    Title: it takes a village.

    Daft_ish ,

Was over for me when I opt out out of some of their data tracking shit and they started captcha'ing me everytime I browsed there. Like wtf Google what are you anymore? Sounds dumb but them changing the banner every week was the start of the end.

    Daft_ish ,

Not saying it was an issue just was a significant change in how they did things.

    Daft_ish , (edited )

    Capitalist has entered the chat.

    Daft_ish ,

Why shouldn't it exist? Are you saying people should walk carts all the way inside. That wouldn't exactly be the better solution.

    Daft_ish ,

When I was a cart pusher I could spend all day in the lot. What really sucked is when they changed from the lightweight plastic basket carts to the XL metal carts. Could push plastic basket carts all day and I would smoke cigarettes by my car in the downtime. XL metal carts ruined that job. Also never cared if they were corralled. You have to push them out the corral and with the XL metal carts they were heavy and hard to maneuver.

They don't say shit in good faith my friend. His whole thing is to say stuff that makes his followers react and exhausts anyone trying to pin him down on anything. Contrary to what anyone thinks he isn't fooling anyone. His rube followers are just happy he's upsetting everyone and wont hold him to a single thing. Everyone else is just tired of his shtick.

The GOP is done veiling their ideas and power plays but it's not like they are being honest. The political equivalent of yelling jibberish at the top of your lungs when someone asks you a simple question. Sad part is the media feeds on it somehow.

    Daft_ish ,

Just gotta start emitting more. Maybe take up smoking??
