Yes, but that is Lithium-ion. These batteries are Sodium-ion which are better for the environment and can potentially be made a lot cheaper.. It's still pretty new technology so it's not really in any consumer products yet.

Piemanding ,

Something about a table made for chess bothers me. IDK why though. It makes sense.

Piemanding ,

It's already becoming low quality crap. The GamePass model doesn't work well with expensive games since they are going for quantity. Hi Fi Rush's devs have been taken down along with a couple more studios. I wonder if that will make a difference, though. Gamers want it cheap, companies want max profit. I'm imagining shovelware in 5 years and many games taken off of it.

Piemanding ,

I was just thinking about the "Mend Buttcrack" and "Diarrhea" combo and realized the fix, poking a hole there, would give you a really nasty infection. You would have to instantly cauterize the wound by shoving in a red hot poker or something.

Piemanding ,

There are two popular ones I believe. One of them is Azur Lane and I forget the second one.

Piemanding ,

Yup. That's the one.

Piemanding ,

From what I heard is that it uses a lot of RAM so it can run faster and will smartly lower its RAM usage if you are running low.

There is that tumor from some woman that ended up being immortal. The woman died, but her cancer cells have saved many lives by replicating infinitely and being used to study human cells.

Adobe comes after indie game emulator Delta for copying its logo (techcrunch.com)

After Apple loosened its App Store guidelines to permit game emulators, the retro game emulator Delta — an app 10 years in the making — hit the top of the App Store’s charts. But the increased attention also brought the threat of legal action, as Adobe targeted Delta for sporting a logo that looked too much like its own.

Piemanding ,

I swear I've seen several other things with that symbol. It's so simple.

Piemanding ,

That's just something that Courage does.

Piemanding ,

Yes. I know Zelda Ocarina of Time has many things, including walking speed, tied to framerate because of ZFG. Also, the 3DS remake reused a lot of the code and several things tied to framerate got quicker because it ran at 30 fps instead of 20. Items despawn quicker because they despawn at a set amount of frames.

Piemanding ,

Not to mention the fact that any new place your data is stored is a honeypot for criminals to try to hack. The more sensitive the data the better. Not every organization has the same protections and they will get your data stolen at some point.

Piemanding ,

He certainly has gravity. If his gravitational lensing is enough we can solve all these issues and more.

Piemanding ,

My idea would be that in heaven you no longer would have romantic relationships or interest. You would just be together with everyone you loved and feelings of jealousy would not exist. That or everyone can create clones of each other and be with whoever they want whenever.

Piemanding ,

So you're saying ADHD has saved many people's eyesight?

Piemanding ,

Says on google lens that the anime is Ao-chan can't study.

DRM is what publishers and developers want. If Valve didn't have DRM they wouldn't be anywhere near as big as they are today. The influx of developers happened when Steam released their DRM for the public.

Piemanding ,

Yes, but those aren't the companies that would have replaced Steam if they weren't successful. It would've been a company like Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, or Blizzard who would've taken over the game distribution market. Valve is a saint compared to any of those companies. As much as we wish for everything to be DRM free it would never happen. At least not with the current market. Also, the average person doesn't care about DRM. They don't understand the implications of what makes an ethical market. They just want to install a game and hit start.

No cat thinks it's responsible for the cats and dogs rain.

Piemanding ,

Everyone says just go to the store. It doesn't cost too much and it'll be higher quality than any printer you can buy.

Piemanding ,

Idk but I don't like the presentation inside that fruit cup.

Piemanding ,

This is very tame compared to what we'll actually see. Hope you're ready for goatsie burning a hole in your retinas/mind's eye.

Piemanding ,

Yeah. Why isn't that kid working? We need all the help we can get for the war cause. If we don't get enough Element 710 those bugs will kill more babies on this remote planet. You don't want that do you?

Piemanding ,

U would assume kids still do it to send funny secret messages. Also yes I know that, it's how I remembered the numbers lol.

Piemanding ,

I feel like this was in Interspecies Reviewers

Piemanding ,

Can't find this on sync if anyone else has that.

Piemanding ,

Magic man saves the day in style. Using more magic.

Piemanding ,

Do you happen to know where it's from?

Piemanding ,

I remember seeing the intro back when it came out. I wonder if I would like it. This kind of humor does make it seem good.

Piemanding ,

I would be angry too if I have already done lots of research trying to figure this out and the top videos and articles talking about it all say the least likely thing is what actually happened.

Now i'm definitely cheering for Rulestein (lemmy.ml)

alt text: A "xit" from user @ChrpngBrd in which he responds to another "xit" from @BlueBoxDave that says "If Israel falls then America falls. It's that simple." @ChrpngBrd's response is a thumbs up emoji, and two stills from The Simpsons S02E19 "Lisa's Substitute." In which, the first image is Martin Prince putting up a poster...

While committing all the war crimes! Finding out what they did in WWII was a bit eye-opening to say the least.

It was some menu glitch where you can sell a vendor's wares back to them.

Piemanding ,

Well the whole reason kittens are cute is so their mothers protect them and don't abandon them. Many mammals are cute as babies for this same reason.

Piemanding ,

There's also Roguelikes where most of the progression is just getting better at the game and knowledge on things to do.

Proud member of the SSA(Skyrim Space Agency)

Well it spreads to those around them. It becomes part of the culture even if it means nothing to others.

Piemanding ,

I got those letters when I registered a domain. It was so annoying.

Piemanding ,

The Framework laptop seems to be doing well. Makes sense that if no one buys it it will fail. That's just how business works. I just hope enough people are fed up with current popular business practices to make these mainstream too.

Piemanding ,

I think Kuroinu might be about this. I don't remember the plot very much though.

Piemanding ,

I don't know about this specific case, but the word going around is enshitification.

Piemanding ,

Love its song. Maybe sometime I'll actually watch it.

No rich person has thought of the long term in a while.

We're gonna have problems getting enough software engineers in the future. How is anyone supposed to learn when everything is locked away. It's already happening in the repair industry and the trades.

Isn't that if they're trying to cover up that it's happening. IDK what you would call this. The inverse Streisand effect?
