Wow. Let’s come back to reality for a moment.

There are millions out there that cannot afford to make themselves employable. They work long hours, possibly two jobs, plus a hustle just to not make enough for ends to meet. How do they go back to school? Learn a trade?

I am one of them, except I haven’t found my hustle yet. I work 40+ hours each week, but I take home so little. I was able to make rent two days ago, for last months rent. I have to hold off on a one of my meds, because paying rent took precedent over everything else, again. People like me don’t give a shit about programs that cannot help us in the short term. We already know our long term: work until we die, with nothing to show for it.

We could turn down the heat, so that the frogs might be able to escape their boiling fate? No, let’s design a better pot that won’t boil the frogs. The ones in there now won’t make it, but their progeny will also likely…not make it.

You ought to check yourself before you call what can be a major relief for millions, stupid. Seriously.

Heck yeah. In addition to POE, I’ve got a power line adapter setup to the NVR so that the cams are all hardwired to the modem/router combo. It’s fast enough for remote viewing in HD.

These are 3 outdoor cameras I helped setup for my bestie. I’m pretty sure she went with a no name brand. The UI is the same UI you see in other basic NVR’s out there. It was likely an Amazon or Costco purchase. This was a few years ago, the details are a bit hazy. I helped setup the software on a non-PoE system and it looked exactly the same. I’m sorry I couldn’t be of much help…

Unlikely. Part of why gold is so value is its inertness. It doesn’t corrode or rust, which makes it great for electronics.

My best friend’s husband is very protective of me. We were at a friend’s house eating and drinking, when someone who we had not met came over. This guy was a friend of the host, and was already a bit drunk. I introduced myself to him, Tên tôi là Jessica. I really only know a few sentences in VN, but I try. Yeah, what is your real name? I respond Jessica. He asks over and over, meanwhile I can see the rage building in bestie’s husband. Finally, Anh says Her name is Jessica! You got a problem with that!? The asshole then gets real quiet. I knew in that moment that Anh was about to pound this drunk asshole into the ground, because the belligerent and aggressive asshole would not leave me alone.

The screen cap that was posted may be fake, who knows? But I remember that moment, from like 5 or so years ago, vividly. It was that very moment that I realized that they were not friends—they were the family that chose me.

Not sure why I am sharing this 😅
