... not really? Mulan is all about a woman pretending to be a man, which is genuinely distinct from being a transdude. She spends most of the movie in military drag.
If this extremely 2013 Tumblr shitpost has any issues misrepresenting queer people it's down to nobody acknowledging bisexuality. Which we're honestly used to.
Mulan is a GNC woman who learns to synthesise femininity and masculinity and use them both to become the biggest badass in China. We honestly don't know if Mulan is cis, trans man, or nonbinary. But it doesn't matter, because the point is that no matter who she is, she can't be that person if she's expected to follow a rigid gender binary.
You got it wrong. What's your empirical evidence to support your statement?
I don't really understand this. You claimed that it is impossible. Saying something is impossible is different than saying that it hasn't happened. To claim that something is impossible is a final statement where certain rules can never be satisfied. As such, you certainly can provide an argument for your claim. That being said, my counterargument would be a simple example: Person 1 wants an apple, and Person 2 wants money. Person 1 and Person 2 agree that 1$ is a fair price for an apple. Person 2 gives the apple to Person 1 in exchange for Person 1 giving 1$ to Person 2. Person 1 is happy because they have an apple, which they wanted, and Person 2 is happier because they received money, which they wanted. The net satisfaction is greater than zero — both sides received something that they wanted.
If the current system is intended to be capitalist, then it is not working as intended, as was described above.
Not at all. This is capitalism.
I can use one simple example to counter that: If one can find an example of a monopoly then the market in which that monopoly exists is not capitalist — one example to prove that point is private utilities.
That not how science works. You don't get to posit a theory without falsification and declare it as true until someone else comes up with a falsification force it and tests it.
You have no evidence you just have wild theories based on of "perfectly spherical cows in a vacuum" .
And monopolies prove the non existence of Capitalism. They're it's natural end result.
I also made a text mod of my own for it that covers some stuff that was overlooked as well as make it compatible with the TTYD+ mod, which I really like.
So far I haven't ran into any, but I haven't had the time to fully re-play the game yet. Any issues that may occur would be either some dialogue that hasn't been properly replaced, or a crash when you enter specific locations.
I've done my best to find all the wrongly-formatted text files that were causing crashes earlier, but it's possible I might've overlooked some since, frankly, TTYD has a LOT of dialogue to sift through. Just be sure to save regularly in case there is a crash.
You behead the ultra-rich (I'm thinking hectomillionaires and above) and all of their worst enablers and then divide their resources between those that need them the most, with anything too big for one person to own becoming public property.
You're thinking octo. Hectomillionaire is 100 millions which, while less than a thousandth of what the two richest in the world have, is still resource hoarding obscene enough to be inherently detrimental to society as a whole.
Can we at least give them the chance to willingly forfeit their extreme wealth before resorting to decapitation. I imagine many would still refuse, but I feel it's ethically necessary to provide them with a choice.
I have a friend who's pretty wealthy and they feel pretty guilty about it. They're looking at buying a house, spending the vast majority of their inherited wealth in the process. My belief is that whilst being able to do this is in a huge level of privilege, they're much more likely to be dining than on the menu at an "eat the rich" party. And honestly, that baffles me somewhat — it highlights just how obscenely wealthy the ultra rich are if my wealthy friend is nowhere in the same ballpark
